That "Gain" knob should have been smaller, the risk to hit it with the foot turning on or off the pedal is evident
@Jeffmetal422 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same thing
@MetalheadOv6662 ай бұрын
It’s bigger for a reason to use your foot to turn it up or down while playing. Usually the reason for big knobs like that
@gabrielstevens412 ай бұрын
I think it's set low enough it shouldn't be a problem
@klap002 ай бұрын
You'd be "hitting it" only if you're turning the boost on or off or muting your own signal entirely tho. Tuner itself is always on, it seems.

Very cool idea, would be worried about using it as a boost and accidentally hitting the tuner side of the pedal, muting right into the solo.

Nice idea, but how accurate is it? My Peterson Strobostomp is accurate to 0.01 cents. I personally think making this pedal a strobe tuner would've been better.
@maxammo62822 ай бұрын
Aren't you special. Well guess what nobody can detect 0.01 And you know what else every tuner out there has the same sensitivity as your 0.01 overpriced Peterson tuner. So you will always have that. Knowing you paid and absorbing amount of money for an overpriced tuner and now you're mad about it. Let's just say we're all getting a good laugh at your expense😂

@@maxammo6282 "every tuner" proof or it's your opinion, "overpriced Peterson tuner" Don't be mad at the OP that you don't have any money or that it all goes to alimony.
@FatBassTone002 ай бұрын
@@maxammo6282this may be the only time I’ve ever seen someone hate on a Peterson. they’re the most accurate, cost the same as most every tuner they compete with, and strobe tuning is more accurate than a chromatic tuner like this. you might not be able to notice 0.1 cents, but you also can’t hear up to about 5 cents so i guess everyone just needs a tuner that’s got a 5 cent margin of error. if you CAN be more accurate, you should be, no one wants to listen to your out of tune guitar.

@FatBassTone002 ай бұрын
@@maxammo6282 you can state your opinion, and I can disagree with it. if a hundred something bucks ‘absorbing amount of money’, which an English speaker would find hard to interpret as “exorbitant” (which is what the word is) you must be on that poverty line, perhaps guitar tuners shouldn’t be your biggest concern.

quite nice, i wonder why we didnt have such a boost thing in a tuner before but then the risk of hitting on the wrong button is real!

Should have included a gate and a channel switching jack when engaging the boost. This would be the ULTIMATE tuner pedal. Also the after mentioned phase switch for the signal splitter!!

Up to +20dB gain, tuner is always on imo with a separate switch for muting the out signal for tuning.

this actually would allow me to reduce 2 pedals on my board, a palmer y splitter and my boss tu-2. Its interesting to add a clean boost as well as an added bonus. Really well thought out pedal thats quite useful and there arent too many studio grade y splitters out there.
