Good. The parklets are dangerous and a matter of time before someone gets injured with a car running into one. Secondly, the street is public property, not the leased property that the restaurant operates on. They shouldn't get indefinite domain over land that they're not paying for.

I wonder how they've done it for decades in cities all around the country directly beside a street? Dummy. Exhaust disipates pretty well in most situations. With the rare exception of a few times when cars are waiting at stoplights, it's not going to be a big deal.

@@pulda015 I've been in cities that have this exact have a situation where people sit right on the sides of the sidewalk directly beside the streets and it's not that big of a deal. I traveled all over the United States and there's a difference between going to places like California where you can actually see the exhaust as you're pulling into certain cities of the State versus other areas where it's not that bad or at least you can't notice it . I'm fully aware of what exhaust smells like. I went to school for automotive and worked as a Ford Tech at a couple dealerships as well as an independent shop and currently have my own shop where I work on cars here and there. Besides that though, again, I've been in downtown situations where cars are passing by all the time and people are sitting outside in front of restaurants or smaller bars and pubs and it's not that big of a deal.

Not even a far walk for this big girl. 😂 I think the outside eating brings more business, not the other way around, and it's perfect for this all year summer weather we have. Also, check out the nature storefront Catholic store. The owner and his family are such beautiful people.
