People have no idea. Unless you live in the city that’s been dramatically altered by this phenomenon. It’s very complex situation. But it’s also human nature to take a yard when you give an inch. I think if the unhoused or the majority didn’t need to be institutionalized or in rehab. They may not have taken advantage of liberal politics and the kindness of society and would’ve received more empathy and support. But anywhere they set up camp turns into a third world dump. Along with drug paraphernalia, violent crime, and crime in general. And this is why people have just had enough. We need to bring back large scale, the benevolent mental institutions. And we somehow need to figure out how to work around the freedom of movement act. To keep people from other states from purposely migrating to communities that support their unhoused lifestyles.
