Chula Vista: Suspected DUI Hit & Run Driver Caught Napping 02062022

DETAILS:
A woman who is suspected of DUI hit a stopped pickup truck driven by a young male and his father as they were stopped for the red light at the intersection.
The collision caused the truck to do a chain reaction into two other vehicles.
The suspect woman then left the scene and a Good Samaritan followed her east onto Telegraph Canyon Rd. where she stopped and passed out. The Good Samaritan reached into her truck and took her keys.
The woman was sleeping and could not be woken up until firefighters arrived. When she was asked "How are you"?, she responded, "All good" with a smile.
There was a Mickey's 40 oz beer next to her. She was transported to a local hospital. The father and son were checked out for their injures, but its' not clear if they were transported.

@@mastertiago6320 It’s called Mutual Aid. Fire crews are dispatched by the closest available unit to respond. The call came out near the I-805 and Telegraph Canyon. National City’s Fire Station 31 is stationed near the I-805 nearly 3 exits away from the accident and well within the 5 minute response time. In emergency services, mutual aid is an agreement among emergency responders to lend assistance across jurisdictional boundaries. This may occur due to an emergency response that exceeds local resources, such as a disaster or a multiple-alarm fire. ... Mutual aid may also extend beyond local response.
