@@Owlpunk "that song" introduced me to these guys. I bought the album, and fell in love with Chumbawamba. When I heard at that time that they'd been around for twenty years, I sought out some of their older stuff. Fell in love with that stuff, too! These days, I get a bit of crap when I say my favorite band of all time is Chumbawamba, but they are, even though they disbanded in 2012. And those who give me crap about it can eff off. 🙂

I'm the opposite, I was listening to this anarcho peace band on the Crass label and I was so thunderstruck when I heard this song playing on the radio, I thought no way is that the same band.. but how many Chumbawambas can you have? But even "that song" wormed its way onto my playlist, lol.. I'm sure they will have a reunion tour someday. At least I really hope so!

As a punk(I'm 42)who is openly gay and who's grandfather was one of the young Scottish soldiers who liberated Bergen Belsen I wonder why I never really paid attention to these guys till lately. Conflict,Crucifix,flux of pink Indians sure but not chumbawama for some reason. To top it off I'm a military historian! And they are often historically correct. When Hess died the rats came out from hiding,in fact that's an insult to rats! Thankfully a few years later a brave historian called Deborah Lipstand strode forth showing Irving up as the Nazi holocaust denier He was and is. We must be always wary, No Paseran.
