I have a question for the real hearthstone players here. I have been watching chump for like 5 years or more but i dont play hearthstone. So is chump like an extrmeley good player who can pull these winrates off or can anyone pull his winrates off with alot of these positive winrate decks.

No doubt he is a good player. He thinks ahead a turn or two, tracks his deck, looks for lethal. But anyone who knows the game can pilot this deck with a similar success after a few games to learn the deck. I dont use a deck tracker but can normally at least go 50/50 with Chump's decks.

He is a good player. Chump dosn't *usually* plays very competitive deck, but he pulls out very decent winrates even with the sketchiest ideas. But you can tell he is a good player because he *thinks* on what play to do, while the average HS player just plays the green glowing card.

With the amount of people I've heard complaining that Warp Gate feels too slow in every Protoss deck, I think Chump made the right call with going for the Mech discount package instead. Pally certainly went straight for Mechs.

In the second game you could have just pushed the Colossus damage to 10. It wouldn't kill the 11 health Starship on the first hit and the armor wouldn't matter on the second hit.

Colosus is 100% broken in arena, 90% in standard. It is a great/broken card with just one laser beam, but double beam??? Serious? And hit face, and clean the board. Really, someday I want to meet Blizzard developers to ask them to give me the drugs that they take...

Running my own variation of Colossus Mage and have a great win-rate with it. Thankfully because Infestor DK is so popular and this type of deck just runs over it. Personally think both those decks need a nerf.

Isn't that just too inconsistent and too slow? You not always get Brann but still have to pay 4 mana for the attempt. And then you still need to discount your Colossus to a cost you can play both the same turn. That are so many hoops in this fast meta.

The 'neutral' protoss (also zerg and terran) cards all show up in the class' colour. I don't know what happens if you were to Theotar one over from the opponent.

archetyping everything so hard and making everything have very obvious deliberate synergy makes creative deck building and plays a lot harder

Yeah after playing for a while with the new mini-set I feel like this is the most boring thing ever. Power-wise it's blown out all across the map. With very weak and awkward cards as well as crazily OP ones. The problem to me is how streamlined every synergy is. It doesn't allow a lot of deckbuilding flexibility in the long run.
