I have only been crocheting for about 2 years and have only done afghans and a few beanies. I decided to tackle this cardigan and I loved it! I used Bernat blanket yarn because my local Joann didn't have any 5 weight yarn and so I said "what the heck? Why not?!" AND it only took me three days to complete! Thank you for the great and easy to follow pattern, Toni!!

...I tried to make a queen size blanket with that yarn, and was overly ambitious for my first full size project. 3 balls in, it was barely a foot tall, but about 6 feet wide. It'd take me a year about about 12 more balls to finish. I've taken the first ball out and I'm using it for this. I've never been happier to undo my work 😅

As a beginner at crocheting I have only made some hats and a scarf so far. But I wanted to challenge myself and try making something bigger. I chose this cardigan as it seemed beginner friendly with easy instructions and pattern. And I am proud to say that I just finished making it. It took me six days (mainly because I don't have a social life and work/classes). My mom also promptly snapped a picture of the cardigan as soon as I showed her the finished product so that's a plus in my books. It's always nice to see my mom proud of me. Thank you for the pattern and easy instructions. Your website was also a huge help when I got confused.

I used the same yarn as the pattern in terra color… the smallest size took 8.5 balls to get the measurements… I’ve been trying to learn to loosen my tension as I’m normally to tight, but perhaps I loosened to much n required extra yarn . Nonetheless it’s been my best project so far… so good my son n husband asked for one to!!!!!
