Oh, yea.... HUGE difference. Those are sort of like Army boots; Even if they're new, you still have to shine and wax them for a better appearance. Probably not a good choice for ballroom dancing or a Limbo contest, but if you ever decide to steal secret plans from an embassy or have to fight aliens, these would be the perfect boots for the task.
