There’s something mystical about the sound of church bells ringing, it brings a indescribable feeling of calm and harmony!

Bells are unique instruments, so they are perceived as being otherworldly or mystical. In the old days, bells were considered to be repellants against evil spirits; not sure about that 😅😅 they are relaxing, though

POV: You're a family of peasants living in a village in medieval France, waking up one morning preparing for breakfast and saying your prayers before working in the field for the day as the monks chant Angelus nuntiavit Mariae etc...

One is reminded of a nap on a Sunday summer afternoon in Poland. A housing estate of communist blocks of flats, lots of greenery all around, people walking in the street, the squeaks of swings in the playground

I’m not even religious but, I find it very beautiful:)

Religion does not make the universe beautiful. The universe is beautiful, and then man creates religion to explain the beauty.

Buddy, I get your point. But I’m just stating the bells sound beautiful. 🙄

@@darthlahey5392 Then why mention religion lol, it has nothing to do with the sound bells make.
@darthlahey53928 ай бұрын
@@michaelprice3040 you just took what I said and twisted the context.
@michaelprice30408 ай бұрын
@@darthlahey5392 no I didn’t, in the context that the video is about “church bell ambience” and you mentioning your aren’t religious but like the sound. This implies that usually you’d have to be religious to appreciate the sound of church bells which is not true. Care to explain what context you were referring to?

sounds almost exactly like the one from my childhood. That one was a bit higher pitched.

In the days of the Agrarian Society and economy, when families were the locus of production and decision making, the bells governed the social life of the town. They called people to awaken, to worship and prayer, to notice and warning, and yes, made known who had died. But they also called them to rejoicing. "And we poor men stand under the steeple Drawing the cords that can draw the people, And in our leash like the leaping dogs Are God’s most deafening demagogues…" The Bell Ringers by G. K. Chesterton

How come there's not a single roof with solar panels? Are they not popular in Germany at all?
