Two thumbs down? Maybe those were in error because my soul smiles listening (and singing) to these wonderful songs of praise. Keep that piano tapping. 🎶🎶🎶🎶

I Am so so thankful for these old songs!!! We left our church after 13 years as the new pastor fired the choir and got the praise bands in and piano and organ out. Now they sing from a wall the same words 100 times. God led us to a church that still loves the old songs of faith))

So glad to hear God led you to another good church. Especially one that believes in the good old fashioned music praising God!

Couldn't agree more, Tim! The ironic thing is the hymns, many of which are over100+ years old are now scorned as being outdated and not as uplifting or spiritual, when in fact, the writers and composers were inspired by verses of scripture in composing them. Sad situation, but thank the Lord for Natalie Raynes!

Tim, sounds like my church. What’s worse, is I’m probably 20 years older than you and been in church for 85 years. Last three years without organ and piano. No hymnals in the pew anymore. I’m so sad.

I am so sorry to hear about what happened at your church. It seems most churches are going into the praise and worship and away from the hymnal. I’m not an expert pianist like Natalie but I do play and I do a “special” piano solo on Sundays. I have been sticking to the old hymns and southern gospel and it’s incredible how many of the older members (age 50 and above) come up to me after the service and tell me how much they enjoyed my playing and that they miss those hymns. Like I said, I’m no expert pianist, and I believe they enjoy my solos simply because it’s the music they know and love.

Thank you. I love the old songs. Every time I hear The Old Account Was Settled Long Ago, I think about the Cathedral Quartet. I use to love to hear them sing that song.

It's so easy to get down hearted with how the world is now, but Natalie's piano playing with songs of glory and our blessed Savior.. What more could we need. Put your hearts and minds on Jesus Christ and listen to these wonderful songs with a pianist who is the best and plays for the glory of Jesus!

Thank you for your music and love for our saviour JESUS CHRIST. I have been watching and listening for over a year. I enjoy your playing, as well as you giving testimony of your love for JESUS. You play with a special feeling. Mostly feeling as you play and the expression you give in word and in song. I am planning in the near future taking your beginner course. I had a year of study playing piano when I was 65. I am retired and plan to get back to my piano. I play guitar for my church now and sing. Piano is a great love as well. I am 74 now so I better get started. Thank you for all you do.

Have you looked at her course in Hymn playing?
@heatherchrisco91063 жыл бұрын
@@jeffcoombes3598 I actually have looked at it but I have a lot going on in life at the moment and my health issues aren't allowing me to play right now unfortunately. I'm praying though for God to heal my body and allow me to play again very soon! I truly believe if it's God's will for me to be healed and take her course He will make a way for me in His time. ❤
