After catching NS 320 in Russellville, I heard that NS 101 was getting close to Decatur with the Nickel Plate Road heritage unit (NS 8100) leading. As such, I raced on back up to Town Creek to wait for it, only for NS 732 to leave Sheffield Yard first instead, with the two trains meeting at Wheeler. Either way, I was able to get set-up here, and was able to catch NS 732 leading with a BNSF ES44AC leading a BNSF AC44CW on the head-end and a BNSF SD70ACe and an NS AC44C6M working as the DPUs. Definitely a bit neat to see an NS unit cycled onto one of these coal trains.
As you can see, no major changes have occurred here since I last filmed this crossing. It appears that about half of the gate lights here were replaced with newer RECO LED gate lights, but that's about it.
