I love the wire basket, the jewellery box and the antique photo and frame. My husband did a little research on the Gudebrod Bros. Silk thread. There were 7 Gudebrod brothers who emigrated from Germany to America in mid 1800’s. They were employed in a silk mill in Connecticut and became proficient. 2 of the brothers bought a small mill in Connecticut and then purchased a larger one in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1883. By 1895 they relocated to Pottstown, PA where it continued for over a century. They developed a braided silk suture that became standard for the medical industry. Very interesting 🤔

My favorite was the silver jewelry box. I bought one at The Visiting Nurse rummage sale. It was inscribed on top "I will never let you fall. I'll stand up with you forever " yours is older though⛵️

I love finding the needlwork things! I especially love wooden spools of silk and Corticelli thread.I have a drawer with packets of needles and Stirling scissors Ivd found. Need to look for a wood display box! I do have a tulip basket with darners and pincushions So much fun to use 🎉😊
