We went to a park and we were looking out over the view and my husband took a step back and got down on his knee and proposed to me. Our story is really fast, we met online at the end November, met in person in December, got engaged in February, and got married that October. So all in all we met, date, married in 11 months and have been married for 4.5 years! 💕

セブ島に旅行へ行く前日に「もうプロポーズ今日しちゃってもいい？」と謎にバラされました😭 結局旅先で分かりきった状態でホテルの部屋でされました。ビーチは恥ずかしいと… 言わなければ本当に知らず海外のビーチで素敵なサプライズプロポーズできたのに…😭 だから予想外の反応出来たのは羨ましいです🥺♡笑

The ring being discovered twice was unfortunate. Meru is a physics major and polyglot - she is sort of a genius, so it couldn't be helped. 😆 But I think the proposal was sweet and sincere. I honestly didn't see anything wrong until Shogo pointed it out. I feel like a lot of noticed flaws come out of self consciousness. For example, a youtuber pointed pointed out bags under her eyes and I didn't notice it until she pointed it out. Lol I guess we are our own harshest critic. The proposal was still fine. I personally loved it! And obviously Meru did, too. She broke down crying (and not out of tears of laughter... hopefully 👍🤣)

It was a breathtakingly beautiful proposal. Well done, Shogo! My hubby proposed a week before Xmas. He proposed in the area that we always went "parking" at and would take a walk along the road. It was on a hill with the city lights below. It was all the more beautiful because of all the Xmas lights. He got down on one knee and I immediately started to cry. We had gone to a holiday party prior so we were really dressed up and he was in a suit looking so handsome. Afterwards we went to a fancy restaurant to have dessert and the waitress noticed my ring and brought out champagne free of charge. It was such a sweet gesture.

Someday I want to be proposed to like that. Somewhere private and romantic to us it doesn’t have to be fancy and the ring doesn’t have to be fancy either. I’d just like our eyes to meet and for us to have this moment of “ah this is real, it’s happening. I love this person” that’s all that matters.
