There's a moon at the end of the Howl video! It's visible during the day, kind of like the moon in Hi High. I was just vibing to the song, and then, oof, it's there! I used to be super obssessed with the lore when I first became an Orbit 4 years ago. But with everything that's happening, I just now think of it more as a motif. Until Jaden Jeong and all creative directors fully explain all this, we don't really know what's canon and what's not. So, now, I just think that the story of being "moon girls" is kind of like a unifying theme, especially with all of them under different management. Don't get me wrong, I love it when there are references to Loona, no matter how small. Also, I personally think that their lore makes them unique--no matter how many times they change genre and concepts, they're always tied to their story as the girls of the moon. And I love that. It makes them stand out in the sea of a lot of groups that sometimes, I find it hard to stan because they're.. for lack of a better term, "creatively lost" (Not their fault though! It's more like with these groups, the management is just throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping something sticks). It's just that now, 4 years into stanning the LOONA girls, I just think of the lore kind of like in multiverse terms--moving in different places in different times with infinite possibilities. Also, I love your attention to detail! You remember things from years and years back.. that's amazing. :) At this point, I'm just open to interpretations and theories that I see, because I think that's also one of the magical things about the lore as well--it's so open to interpretation, that you can look at it in different ways, and just enjoy discovering something new everytime. I also like how it serves as a talking point, especially if there are new Orbits--I know that's how I got sucked into this 4 years ago. I just fell so hard for all the girls and their bond, and that's why I'm still here. :)

Honestly I do feel the same way. But I'm trying to stay optimistic, because I know that the members (and their new companies) put a lot of work into their new Lore. At the same time I feel like the Lore was never really that planed out 100%. The fact that YYXY never got their "femme fatale" repackage album to me already was a problem in piecing together the lore. But this leaves the Loonaverse open to interpretation. And I always loved storys that can be interpreted in 100 different ways! I fell in love with Loona because of the Lore and all of the analyses videos Orbits made (and of course because of their amazing music lol). Maybe a bit of a strange reference, but the video game “shadow of the colossus” was released in 2005 and there are still people making theory videos, because they never spelled out the story fully. It would be kind of cool if there would be people 3~5 years from now that could get to know about Loona because of the Lore and maybe theories about what it all means. And since I see less and less of those theory videos I wanted to contribute to the fandom by keeping the Lore and the speculations alive (and maybe even help out new Orbits understand over 5 years worth of Lore). ^^

Thank you so much for keeping the lore alive! I know it takes a lot of time--research, editing, scriptwriting--to make just one lore video. It also actively engages my brain, you know? I love looking beyond the surface as puzzling out the big picture. Thanks so much!

I personally don't consider Underwater as a part of the Loonaverse, but it definitely is referencing the Loonaverse and Loona-lore in general = all the details you mentioned in your video. I feel like Underwater is her "healing" chapter, considering what she went through. She probably wanted to reference previous Loona MVs and give homage, but I could be wrong. This whole MV gives me "memories" or "flashbacks" vibes. Like, she is sitting there and thinking about everything that happened, and like in a dream, we often mix up things or "see" things differently from how they happened. Your reference to Christian Anderson, and the Little Mermaid, it's actually a good fit. In the original story, the Little Mermaid (water) turns into sea foam and becomes a wind sprite (air/wind), and funny enough Chuu's Howl album comes in Wind version(peach) and Wave version (mint). Peach being her original Loonaverse colour, this could be her transitioning into another color, aka another style. Overall, your attention to details is great and the video is very well made. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. ☺️💕

Wow you're right, the meaning of the Album version names is really fitting! I'm also not sure how everything will fit together, but still I like to be hopeful and look forward to the new Lore. ^^

A year old Orbit (C.Loo, A little Kkoti), and still a baby LOONAVERSE 😅, so glad to have another person who studies the lore. How long have you been a ORBIT??? P.S: support Chuu, Heejin’s upcoming comeback, ARTMS and LOOSSEMBLE 🫡

I've been a fan since late 2019. I became a fan when Loona had their long hiatus, which is why I had a lot of time to study the lore lol. I always loved the way orbits can theories about the Loonaverse and share their ideas with others, so of course I have to contribute something to the fandom and present you my ideas. 🫡😊 Also welcome to the fandom! ❤

I personally think that this is just supposed to let us know that Loona is still a group. That they (in the future) will probably have a comeback with all 12 of them. In my new video I put a clip of Haseuls Livestream where she basically spoils a new song. This song is the Crystal Ballad from the scraped "La Maison" Loona album. This to me just shows that they are all still working together and they want us to know this. ^^

@@florastel Hmm maybe, but LOONA was never that vague nor upfront, everything in their MVs had a meaning and a reason. Though it could be different now since they're not together anymore. References and paying tribute to their old songs is more than enough for me, but it would be interesting to decipher the deeper meaning if there is any.

I don't think Chuu is contributing to the LOONAVERSE through this music video. I think this is her memento of the LOONA days, including the good and the bad. She uses LOONAVERSE in her work--this is not LOONA lore. Being an ENFP with Fi express herself, rather than contribute to the community?

So... first of all I don't really like the stereotyping of these personality tests. I mean over all human behavior is context-based. People exhibit different personalities in different situations, and do not have fixed personality traits throughout their lifetimes. You can take the same test 4 times and have 4 very different personality types assigned to you. Fells like they might not be accurate, ey? Second of all, I do believe that Chuu could have a connection to the Loonaverse, even though she is not working together with Jaden Jeong. I mean... we all thought Loossemble wouldn't have any connection to the new lore just because they are not working with Jaden Jeong. And we were all proven wrong. You can of course say that the MV might have connections, but they are just call backs and are not contributing further in the new Lore, but I am also free to think otherwise. To say that I am grasping at straws here feels like that's a bit rich coming from you an orbit, when we think about how the Lore of the Loonaverse has been portrayed this far. Of course we were suppose to know that Cheorry traveled trough the universes of the Loonaverse... because after eating a Cherry, she faints and wakes up in an abandoned house? (there literally is almost no confirmed information of the Loonaverse, that's why some people think Heejin is the creator of the Loonaverse and some think she is one of the Odd Eye Circle members) We always had to look at minute details to piece together the Lore. And at the time the old lore was analyzed a lot of people didn't believe it, and that has always and will always happen. agree to disagree, but please don't say I'm not contributing to the community, when I spent almost all of my free time making theory videos (and even if they might be proven false in the future) I am contributing to the Lore staying alive.

@@florastel "I'm not contributing to the community..." When did I say that to you? It was for Chuu. Unless you are an ENFP like Chuu? Plus, there is no good or bad for not contributing to the community. Just preferences.
@florastel Жыл бұрын
Well you said: "Being an ENFP with Fi express herself, rather than contribute to the community?" I don't know if this maybe is just a language barrier (since English is not my first language), but this sounded like you were asking me whether I think I contribute to the community or not, but I didn't know that you meant Chuu so I'm sorry for probably misunderstanding you.
@TYAC_red Жыл бұрын
@@florastel I am glad the misunderstanding is understood. Is Mandarin your first language? Maybe I'll use Mandarin in the future?

Well sadly I can't speak Mandarin. But thank you a lot for clarifying to me what you meant!😅
