That price for a laptop with a Celeron N5100 is just too much :/ You can get a convertible with a Ryzen 5500U at that price point.
@pxKappa3 жыл бұрын
you'll get a crap tier "150nits" screen for that AMD processor and at that price. and a basically full plastic build... those low tier lenovos and what not are overpriced as hell for their build quality and specs (talking convertible laptops here)... but yeah, the price is still what's keeping me from pulling the trigger on one of these chuwi laptops... they haven't brought "a really hard to say no" deal yet... the prices seem to keep going up with each release 😕 guess I waited this far... I can wait to see what's next. kinda hoping they give us something with the higher tier celerons instead of the N5100 all the time, or a core i3 convertible would be great too.
@rcpoisond3 жыл бұрын
@@pxKappa I personally would prefer a full plastic build with a decent IPS touch screen (you probably looked at a different model) to anything with a crap tier N5100. I don't care what material you pack that CPU in. You can encase it in titanium as long as it isn't below 250€ it's not worth it.

@@rcpoisond i aggree lol... i was just saying those models such as the ideapad flex 14 or whatever it's called, which is the closest to this price range, the screens are crap... about 40% ntsc... if the screens were good they would be better, but for an office work and multimedia computer you need a better screen over a better processor imo, and those don't have good screens. that said, i still think, as i said before, that this chuwi is also overpriced.

It's so much better (Not jsut the speed) less noise, better range etc but it also only costs about $5 more for them to use it Vs Wifi AC. You also get BT 5.2 and not BT 4 which is much faster.

28.8wh battery is going to be a huge letdown for a laptop this large. I have a 43wh in a 7" device.

LOL, not thinking the cutout on the display would be a positive feature.

when will they learn that BATTERY is the number one concern. performance wise i bet anyone looking into this kind of thing is ready to compensate. but without a good battery whats the point of lugging around a small device when you need to bring the charger as well. get it minimum 8 hours CHUWI for your future devices!

How do they always manage to have terrible battery life with those low powered chips?
@Techtablets3 жыл бұрын
Seems to be their thing to use small batteries, It's only 28Wh and sure plan video it might get 6 hours in flight mode playing video off the SSD not streamed. But general chrome use, docs etc. it's scraping over 4 hours only just. High res, bright screen isn't helping it.

@@Techtablets I guess I'll have to wait for Windows on ARM to catch-up before buying one of these. I really want to.

Dell or Lenovo typically are very good to squeeze lots of batteries of the any chips. Seems like they know how to make or use drivers and squeeze all the efficiency of the chips. Chuwi seems like they never learn anything
