Same here except the drummer part... what is it about this band that attracts us metalheads?
@samuelcarvelli9087
@samuelcarvelli9087 3 жыл бұрын
@@Fernt Good production and good vocals, but the magic word is synth. We all know metalheads can get quite nostalgic at times. This band is a good combination between nostalgy and new, and still can keep their work solid and original. Still metal purists wouldn't ever even look at this band for a split second. I'm personally always happy when I find something new that allows me to change perspective and just experience something else. That's the type of metalheads this band draws to them.

I was privilege enough to watch this band at concert for the fourth time this year (1 for each album I suppose). I usually sing along to Chvrches , clap, jump around, and have a good time and such. But when Lauren performed this second to last song on the encore of the 2021 tour... I was just in awe. My jaw was dropped. I had this dumbfounded look on my face (good thing it was covered by a mask)... the raw emotion when she performed this song... I was having an experience. Like a profound artistic experience. I was witnessing a great piece of art. California was my favorite song of the album, but this all instantly change when I witness that live performance. Watch it perform in real life... even though I heard this song so many times because it was the first song in the album.. but watching it... seeing her sing it live was like truly hearing the song for the first time ever. I hope that you guys will someday witness and experience what I felt on that day on December 16th of 2021. Thanks for reading my TED talk.

🎼LYRICS: I don't want to say that I'm afraid to die I'm no good at goodbyes, I can't apologise And if I don't stop now will it follow me down? I guess I have to try, it's the art of getting by 'Cause I sunk some ships with selfish lips And it all came back to me I was terrified, I never told them why And the songs I wrote 'bout hearts I broke Would never come for free I cheated and I lied but I meant it when I cried So what do you say when you lose your way? The past is in the past, it isn't meant to last But if I can't let go, will you carry me home? Can we celebrate the end? I'm asking for a friend 'Cause I filled my bed with my regrets But it hasn't killed me yet None of it mattered, none of it mattered And the mess we made on Fridays Gave me Sundays on my knees But you still matter, you still matter You still matter [*8] I don't want to say that I'm afraid to die The past is in the past, t isn't meant to last But if I can't let go, will you carry me home? This is one of the Chvrches songs that I most identify with, for over 10 years I don't know what it's like to have a friend! The only friend that always accompanies me is depression, it's like a shadow that scares me every day 🖤

Definitely blew me away as always i wasnt sure at first but the emotions in each song it just sucks u in. Im not really even an dance/electro music type but i made an exception the day i found this band and i continue to love the music never ceases to amaze me with her vocals and the emotions and perfection of background music that blends well. Absolutely stunning keep up with these amazing and beautiful songs and albums ull have me listening till my last day
