This is insane, such a great version. The piano is so beautiful. Her voice is mesmersing, the vulnerability in her voice is enchanting. We need more of this.

A Beautiful Video, well engineered. Or maybe it was all in Laurens Natural Ability. Her voice and what she can do with it are Incredible !! Also, about 1:42, her Cute Eye Roll. She is very good at Expressing The Song. Love Her.

This song deserves a fucking award. Just absolutely sublime. The final part at 2.36 makes me feel like i am trying to run up a hill whilst a strong wind is blowing against me and the cold torrential rain is falling rapidly into my face.!.!.! FUCKING BRILLIANT. Such an achievement to get the song work in an "Unplugged / Stripped down" set up. Not the perfect performance, but that makes it better yeah?....... Absolutely love the lyrics, so original . Absolutely love the eerie, haunting production. Looking forward to a Dance remix 🤙

Pretty young Scottish girl who fronts a band, Scots known for being tough, minature frame and big voice juxtaposes what we all think is normal. Brilliant song, depressing lyrics, incredible bass lines over bass piano chords, dissonance and incredible melodies and a great hook. A brilliant formula. Hats off to this band. They are incredible.

She sounds so much more Scottish without the vocal processing on the studio version
@melancholia1013 жыл бұрын
I know, never heard her accent come through before, even live. No distraction from the vocal here though. I like it.
@davidwilson28103 жыл бұрын
@@melancholia101 you can hear the Scottish in the studio album version also, I happen to be from Scotland and it's certain ways she pronounces words, although In this version all I can hear is how Scottish she sounds, I prefer it if I am honest you don't get alot of Scottish singers who use their original sound, they always change it to pronounce things more British English.

Lauren's voice sounds stronger here. I think acoustic is softer so her voice is louder. The synths are louder in concerts and making her voice softer

I liked a lot until I made the mistake of reading about their political beliefs. Best to not do that. :) Don't mix your entertainment with politics.

They are from Scotland and like 80% of their compatriots (and me) they are progressive and left leaning. Same as most of the rest of Europe. It's not their fault - it's just that when we were all quite young we were taught to read and given access to the facts.
@erad672 жыл бұрын
@@davidhowie7078 It rather appears you didn't actually read the facts you were given access to. If you had, you wouldn't imply people who don't think the same way as you weren't taught to read and/or have access to facts.
