Ross Barbish well, they can play live with synthesizers, keyboards with millions of different voices. A piano is relatively simple in comparison.

Well a lot of that is fairly simple, like Martin playing the same synth keyboard loop for the last 2 minutes of the song Clearest Blue - This shows more musicianship

I feel like in order to be a musician at all and play synth properly you need to understand piano (practice a lot) or have proper piano lessons. I think this is just an unsaid rule of playing music lol.
