Get a handheld fan it works better when fumes are too much. The trick to dipping the lash in the glue is: the faster you dip the more glue will be on the lash. Dip very slowly to cost lash with the smallest amount of glue possible! This helps to reduce fumes as the adhesive is curing and releasing fumes! Also classic lash( what she’s doing here) is so much easier to do than volume( when working on your own lashes)!
@slrcouture2 жыл бұрын
I did my lashes with using Venus Visage glue. I’m a risk taker. I watched at least 20 videos and researched the glue before doing this. I saved myself $150 a month, which getting lashes is by choice, but I’m so grateful I learned to do them myself. It took me 5 hours but it’s so worth it. I get so many compliments because I did them exactly how I like which is natural. Most Lashtech get lash happy by adding too many, making it look like a strip. I will NEVER need a lash tech again. I do fill-in whenever I see fit ☺️ Normally, my lashes start falling out after a day. I did my lashes 3 weeks ago and only had 4 lashes fallout. The retention should be just as the glue bottles states which is up to 8 weeks. I discovered lash techs use little amount of glue so that you return for a fill in. That’s when I decided to do my own.

Can you provide the links to the lashes & glue that you used? TIA :-)

@@kellykeo8785 I apologize. I’m just now seeing your comment. I use Fadlash. I’ve tried several glues, but Venus Visage glue is by far the best. My lashes stay on for over a month. Both are on Amazon.
@isabelbiggin4433 Жыл бұрын
I’m a lash tech & have never heard of only using a little amount of glue so that clients come back in. As a lash tech I want my clients to have the best retention for less fallout because that’s bad for business when lashes are falling out left & right. Also there is a certain length you dip slowly into the glue not very far just a tad then attach to the natural lash. I don’t see how you would only use “a little bit” of glue.
@slrcouture Жыл бұрын
@@isabelbiggin4433 You are one lash tech out of thousands. Thankfully you’re an honest tech. Not sure where you live, but lashing is over saturated in ATL. For a long as I’ve been wearing lashes, I know what I experience. When I started doing my own lashes, my lashes stayed on 2-3 weeks longer. Everyone isn’t you or possibly taught the way you were.

You are the best!!!!!! Thank you for being so thorough and actually SHOWING what the heck you're doing. One thing I found helpful is to practice with regular lash glue. Yes it will fall out the next day, yes it's a pain to do a lot of work for it to fall out right away however you won't get stuck with shitty lashes for weeks. Practice is key and I found it best for me to practice with low stakes.

I agree 100%. I'm extremely confident in my abilities. We can do anything with patience and successful instructions. I never let anyone tell me I can't do something. I will find out for myself on what I can and cannot do. KZbin has literally taught me soooo much. I've been getting lashes for 6 years now and have switched different lash techs on numerous occasions. They are not scientist. They've literally learned just like we are learning on KZbin by being given valuable information. I've had several licensed lash techs mess up my natural lashes, but most importantly I've realized they either use weak glue or aren't applying them well because they come off so fast and the price they charge for a fill, I'm so done with paying when I know I can do this myself. That's what led me to watching videos. I'm excited to do my lashes and save myself hundreds of dollars 🙂
