50% of buyers are coming to compact and midsize suv directly from hatchbacks. So, they feel high torque and turbo are overkill and they get satisfied with base and middle variants of any compact or midsize suv since most of them are powered with NA engines. They just get satisfied with that. Moreover gimmick features like 360 cam, sunroof don't attract them. Those gimmicks are for just 20% buyers who settle in top model because they already got used to one of those features and already they would have owned 1.2 or 1.5l, tsi, tdi etc and also those who usually upgrade after 5 years of ownership. Sunroof is 200% useless which adds no value to driving dynamics, safety, heat insulation, structural integrity. Instead it just makes the vehicle a little hot and puts safety of children in question waiving hands and heads outside. Also the rubber beading in car will definitely need replacement and is prone to scratches, cracks if parked under coconut tree and even theft is possible. I wish all manufacturers provide an option like you can either choose 360 dashcam or sunroof.

the main thing i see in overall topic is, top end sub 4 meter vs base or mid midsize suvs. so its a tricky thing , i would say longterm na midsize better. short term na get a turbo and go for maximum warranty period.

i driven all vw, creta, gv.. i prefer creta gear box is good.. if sportier then vw... balance is gv.. i like grand vitara suspension and comfort.... so ur choice.. driven tata i dont like it i can feel sound inside cabin and interior quality not good i can feel noise while driving

There is nothing like which gearbox is superior. IMO Manual transmission is just like pure android, DSG like ios, TC is oxygen OS, CVT like one UI. A phone's DNA and performance is decided by its platform and UI. Just like a car decided by its performance and transmission. Nothing is inferior to any. Each shines in their own way like budget, performance, reliability and maintenance. Having a wide range of options is what people need.

My choice in terms of transmission based on my drive experience... The best car brands to buy...... AMT - Hyundai cars only have perfect amt transmission. Don't prefer any other amt cars apart from Hyundai. AT - Suzuki, VW, Hyundai, Citroen CVT - Honda DCT - Hyundai / Kia, Skoda & VW

@@sajithstz5592 Kia is a globally well ahead to Mahindra in all three terms.... In reliability they are in the top 10 globally.... In maintenance, kia/Hyundai is just brothers only.... So u will have maintenance support around.... Resale too Kia will be better than Mahindra.... As u know mahindra have low resale value compared to others..... But personally I won't like kia, becoz i owned a Kia RIO sedan in abroad had worst time after 50k kms......

@@sajithstz5592 if it's diesel is ur choice u can go for both..... Second row comfort 3xo is good.... Boot space wise sonet is good.... Sonet has cramped second row..... So decide urself the pick... I would say 3xo has an edge over sonet becoz of comfort.... But after sale support of Mahindra check at ur locality prior to ur decision....

reliability issue, lots of niggles and pathetic after sales service are the biggest problem with tata brand, we own 3 tata car in our family all three have the above mentioned issues no matter the price range or in different cities in Tamilnadu, this experience scared me i am never going buy another TATA car in my life no matter how good they are, please mention the tata problems in their product videos not many media house are mentioning the tata problem so that others don't have to go through this horrific experience i went though
