My love for Singapore started in 1978 after seeing tamil movies priya and ninaithale inikkum. In 70s and 80s talk of the country was Singapore. I wanted to visit Singapore. Thanks to my friend and his family I visited Singapore three times in 2015, 2016 and in 2017. I still wish to visit Singapore again. This is because of the beauty, and neatness of that country.

Hope you will cover other interesting places other than the usual Little India (Serangoon Road), Mustapha shopping Ctr etc.!!...Some interesting places would be Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa and outer lying smaller islands showing rural life as it was in old Singapore. Also you would want to show other than the usual public housing apartments, exclusive private landed houses that some Indians live in if possible. Also central business district (CBD) areas where people work in as well as main housing areas in outer areas like Jurong, Bukit Batok, Senkang, Yishun areas, some with Hindu temples etc. The oldest Temples like South Bridge road, Mariamman temple and Little India area centered Veerama kaaliaman temple where village gods of early migrants are enshrined. Also early Tamil- Muslim Nagore Dargha shrine, Telok Ayer st, near South Bridge Road, Mariamman Temple...and Waterloo street Krishnan Temple that interestingly accommodates local Chinese dieties within the Hindu temple!! And the Chettiars community sponsored, Thandayuthpani Temple and LayanSithi vinayagar temple and an extensive Chinese Buddhist temple near walking distance from South Bridge Rd Mariamman Temple...all in Chinatown..where in the early 1900 traders and immigrants can travel from ships to boats to meet their relatives who had come before them. Today the coastline is far out as land reclamation has made the coast line and shipping lines further away. But history from these establishment would give clear indications how Chinese and Indian immigrants came to live in the native Malay island of Singapura..formerly named as Singapura by SriVijaya Empire's Prince Sang Nila Utama, from Palembang, in present day Indonesia in the 13 century....and later the island,also known as Temasek, bought over by Sir Stamford Raffles, of the British East India company and named as Singapore. Perhaps uou can also watch some local Tamil TV channel, Mediacorps, VASANTHAM channel, programs. Saturday night (9p.m), "Vadi Ready Vedi 2", is a good comedy skit show, or other weekdays evenings there are drama/serials. Since you will be here over Vesak Day, public holiday over the weekend, do visit Waterloo Street, Buddhist temple next to Krishnan Temple OR the temple in sprawling grounds in Toa Payoh to see devotees praying and Hindu Temples too mayhave Milk-Pot carrying for abishegam. If you are in town, check out National Library building, their unique. Digital book borrowing system and the Tamil books collection! ALSO check out the Indian Fine Arts association where Indian dance and music is taught at very high standards. Shopping malls like Suntec City mall and exhibition halls...Indian National Army(INA), Nethaji Memorial at Esplanade...near the Merlion statue/fountain. The large fountains outside SuntecCity are beautiful at night...and the Indian Heritage Centre (museum) in Little India
