"Speculates" being the operative word here, however, from conversations I have had with Ray, it is clear to me that he is a reliable witness, although he is somewhat of a 'lone voice' in a wilderness of of bombast, rhetoric and often reckless talk. However, I have a feeling that the NATO alliance will suffer terminal fatigue, because Milanovich has said that he will never have Croatia observe Article 5 - Likewise Austria will not be dragged into this insanity and neither will France and Germany if they see the brown stuff making its way towards the fan. The NATO alliance is already fractured regardless of the bombast of the UK and the USA. And it is even filtering through the state media here in the UK that Ukraine are no match for the multi-layered defences assembled by the S.M.O. Furthermore, with the UK having funnelled over £2.5 billion in military support for the US in its proxy war, whilst the domestic situation further deteriorates, the opposition is moving gradually toward a critical mass. The British Conservative government is in a state of disarray, facing imminent defeat in no less than four local elections and a climate of civil disobedience is intensifying. Boris Johnson has been proved to be a liar, after a recent hearing of the Parliamentary Privileges Committee and has now been run out of politics and is currently wiring a column in a sleazy tabloid on the topic of how he has lost weight. That the UK government is pressing for amendments to a Public Order Bill that will make public protest a criminal offence, serves only to highlight the fact that desperation is setting in and more voices are being raised about the need to put an end to NATO before it puts an end to all of us. As Geoffrey Sachs recently said, it is imperative that Biden is reminded of the outcome of the dialogue between Kennedy and Kruschev and the importance of letting Zelensky know that the game is up and there will be no more weapons shipments to Ukraine. Once he does that, the way will be open for a meeting with Lavrov, which can easily be set up using Zoom, and then we can have a resurgence of the Minsk agreement whereby Russia's security needs will be respected. And we can have another episode of diplomacy echoing that which saved us 60 years ago, which will probably be followed by another assassination - that of the drug-addled, money-laundering puppet Zelensky who has presided over and profited from the deaths of hundreds of thousands, of a variety of ethnicities in a state which, far from being sovereign, should never have existed outside of the Russian Federation in the first place. Ukraine as a state was created entirely by the chicanery of the USA at the time of the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact, and this whole debacle was of a design to destroy not only Russia, but also China. Where we are right now is the result of over 30 years of baiting and provocation by a US administration that has proved, time after time, that it lies, it cheats and it steals and knows neither the meaning of candour, or of trust. Ultimately there will be no military solution - it will have to be settled through negotiating a settlement. It will go down in history as one of the greatest wastes of human life, the squandering of obscene amounts of money, a replay of the defeat of Nazism and an even closer brush with nuclear annihilation than was the case 60 years earlier - and yet again, despite the most overbearing campaign of propaganda and wholesale brainwashing of a gullible and credulous public, Russia will come out on the right side of history. And finally, once again, we will ask ourselves the meaning of the words - Never again.

It’s near impossible to predict how the war will end. Only two things are certain. That the war can only end through negotiations. And that the war will escalate. Looking at the record, I’m surprised, like many analysts, that Russia hasn’t attacked US satellites which have enabled Ukraine a huge advantage. Other options of escalation could be to strike positions in Poland. Obviously this could incite a dramatic western response, but then, Russia is facing an existential threat, why shouldn’t they climb the ladder of escalation?

Russia isn't the one constantly looking for escalations. USA has no incentive to negotiate, and NATO / Ukraine have no authority to do it. So the war will continue until Ukraine has no capacity to continue.

In an article published by Sam Huntington in Foreign Affairs 1990 there is a reference to ‘a Transformation of Western Europe’ by W.Wallace (Royal Institute of International Affairs)and a map of Central Europe showing a north -south dividing line between western Christianity circa 1500 and Orthodox Christianity and Islam. From the Finnish / Russian border, the line passes through western Ukraine and ending on the coast between Montenegro and Albania! The Dnieper River would appear to be a natural boundary between western oriented Ukrainians and their Russian speaking neighbours in the eastern oblasts.

It's the best next step....for the sake of those fighting....dialog...but it all comes down to the quality of the diplomates. It seems like we are getting back to a "mutually assured destruction" stand off....which is a symptom of not being vigilant enough when it comes to creation and being creative rather than lazy loitering without direction. Either one is proactively promoting peace through the utilization of creative and productive skill sets...or they are getting in the way of development and are therefore allowing the destructive forces of nature to take over. The propaganda needs to stop and I assume it will stop as those using propaganda find that it is less and less effective against a well informed world population. It seems we are at M.A.D. and once again provided time to protect ourselves from ourselves....like children.
