CIA DIRECTOR WILLIAMS J. BURNS IN KENYA - HERE’S WHY

CIA director William J. Burns was in Kenya in January 2024. Burns held discussions with President William Ruto with a focus on regional security, the escalating threats of terrorism and political instability in the Horn of Africa and the Middle East. This visit was also meant to cement the diplomatic relations between the two nations further highlighting Kenya’s influence in Africa’s USA business. This forms the basis of our focus on the Kenya US relations.
United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has also announced mass relocations of its staff from New York to Nairobi. The city already hosts major U.N. entities like the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and UN-Habitat and this move reinforces its status as a focal point for international development efforts. Why is there this huge shift and focus on Nairobi?

Kenya is not really important to the United states. The great relationship is an illusion on the part of Kenya. Kenya receives too little aid and FDI from the USA. The figures given are mostly fictitious. Kenya's best strategy is to disengage from being visible in the world stage. Our economic planners must realize that we cannot grow the economy through imports. We don't have much in the way of exports given that Tea,coffee,fruits,flowers value chain is controlled by the west. Carbon credits,sustainable development,community conservancies,renewables are the road to ruin.These policies will ensure no industrial revolution in Africa and perennial poverty. Kenya should learn to play the game. We should learn from Botswana the art of statecraft. The USA sees Kenya as easy to dupe,we should not be too fast to answer the hegemonic call.Let other African countries be the first. As long as we are a democracy and capitalists we don't need to fear the Pentagon/CIA and bend over to World bank thugs.We should rough up these thugs like Ethiopia did.Kenya is being gang raped by IMF and WB. They are in the process of stealing the future of Kenya for the next century.

You should know that colonialism undoubtedly brought about significant challenges and negative consequences for many regions. Characterizing East Africa or any region solely as a "colonial creation" is considered very disrespectful, because it overlooks the rich history, cultures, and civilizations that existed in the area long before colonial powers arrived. Many regions around the world, including East Africa, had well-established societies with sophisticated social, political, economic, and cultural systems prior to colonization.

@@FaizalB576 The “colonial creation” is the current structure of the States resulting from Berlin 1885 apart from the last Western creation: South Sudan. But what makes me sad is to hear the story of this lady whose entire speech sounds like that of "CNN" with reasoning that calls nothing fundamental into question. The United States has no respectful relationship with any African state because they are still disunited and weak. “Cooperation” with the United States is a relationship in a brotherhood of puppets or leaders sanctioned at the slightest deviation, particularly with current Africa.
