I once worked in a hotel that had "pipe chases" that were similar to the access doors shown in the video. They allowed maintenance to access the plumbing behind the showers and tubs, without having to tear out the tile and walls. This doesn't confirm or deny the suspicions laid out here, but it is an explanation of the purpose of those doors. Size-wise, a person could stand in them, but two people might not be able to do so. Most hotels -- particularly those with above-average room rates -- don't want to miss a single possible day of renting a room out, simply because maintenance is needed to fix a plumbing issue. Not having to re-do the walls and tile in the bathroom helps ensure that those maintenance tickets get cleared quickly and the room returned to rentable status. Nicer hotels will make some attempt to conceal such access areas.

@jim davidson Maybe try seeing a chiropractor to adjust your neck if you have never seen one, to see if it helps for the ear ringing symptom. I get ringing in the ears when my neck is "out", pinching off nerves coming out from the spine. The neck adjustment stops the ringing. I also used to have mercury amalgam fillings, and many years after getting the fillings removed as I went through the mercury detox, that also contributed to the nerve damage and symptoms. Mercury and other neurotoxic substances like pesticides, have an affinity for fatty tissues like the coating around nerves, and the brain. Then they interfere with the normal electrical conduction and function. Perhaps the hotel room was sprayed with a pesticide before you got there, and you were having a neurotoxic reaction to the exposure. The rooms are routinely sprayed for bed bugs and other pests. There are a number of things that can cause ringing in the ears, including medications. Hope you find help and relief! Edit: The chiropractor may also be able to figure out what else might need to be addressed, like diet, toxic exposures in your home and occupation, etc. I knew none of how those toxic exposures adversely affected my health until I started with chiropractic care after a car accident. I did 14 years of ICU nursing, and never knew how toxins cause health problems.

My understanding is that two separate ultrasonic beams lined up at 90 degrees and intersecting can create a "base band" audio signal of normal frequencies. It would also be possible to create a bass band audio that's just above human hearing ability which might damage the ear without a person hearing it. It sounds like what happened in the late 60s early 70s. Microwaves were directed at windows in the theory that then the windows would act like microphoens. I think it also happened in Havana. The result was a lot of people in the embassy got very sick including the kids. They were sent home to America for medical attention. The Cubans were told we knew what was happening and told to stop. They did. It looks like the Cubans found it in an old box and tried to use it again out of curiosity or they're trying the new improved model.

You could do some DIY science. I sure as hell would. The main tools needed would be a laptop or desktop computer, an SDR radio, probably some RF downconverters, and free software. Assuming you have a computer, you could get started for about $40 with just a cheap SDR radio receiver like the RTL USB dongle. If you have a few hundred $ it might be better to look into and SDR radio with greater RF bandwidth so you can see a greater number of frequencies at once. Mine works up to something like 7 gigahertz and can see about 20 megahertz of frequencies at once. Point is, the tools you would need exist, aren't outlandishly expensive, and aren't super hard to use. With them you could record likely segments of the radio spectrum while you sleep. I you wake in pain, you could also scan around for likely signals. Playing Dr. Evil, if I were going to attack someone with radio waves, I would probably use the guts of a microwave oven and put them in a different looking container so it is more portable, and easier to aim. So I'd start looking at 2.451GHz which is the normal operating frequency of a microwave oven. I'm currently monitoring that frequency and there is quite a bit of activity in that general area. That could be small amounts of leakage from people cooking breakfast. There are very broadband pops which could be people opening the door to avoid hearing the damn beeping when the timer runs out. So you would need to get familiar with what normal looks like. But probably more important, you're looking for something hugely powerful compared to normal activity. I think the peak power I'm seeing is a few millionths of a watt. You're looking for something likely a few billion times stronger. It might even be strong enough to burn out the radio, so you might want to look into attenuators too. And just for thoroughness, you might also want to leave a microphone recording in case the attack is sonic rather than light/radio. Your mileage may vary, but in my experience the digital microphones used in laptops can actually record quite a way higher and lower than we can hear. There is some filtering to lower its volume but enough makes it though to still be possibly useful. IIRC I can record from about 1Hz to 40KHz. So, I could record the low grumble of elephants talking, and have recorded the bird-like chirps of bats. You'll want to set the sample rate of the microphone to at least twice the highest frequency it can detect. So for 40KHz sound, a sample rate of 80,000...probably 96,000, a default setting on many sound cards. Then get a free program like Audacity to look at a waterfall chart of what you recorded. You could also play it back slowed down to get the sound within human hearing range. One thing to know ahead of time is you will hear stuff that sounds scary but is normal. I once heard what sounded like a few very creepy voices talking. After further study it was just insects. Birds often sound like Jurassic Park. Who knows, maybe you'll acquire data that contributes to figuring out what is going on and maybe even who is doing it and how to protect yourself.

I think it's just as likely that the US government is responsible for somehow poisoning their own employees. A large number of people I joined the military with all received the same diagnosis of a chronic illness a few years after joining. We were all healthy and had no prior history or predisposition to this illness. I attended a hospital and coincidentally met even more veterans with the same exact diagnosis, bringing the total number of people I've met with the diagnosis up to nearly 30. Military bases are known to be big contaminators. If the people who live and work on bases are all suffering from the same illness, it makes sense there has to be a factor they have in common: the air quality or the drinking water. I say this because the symptoms we have are not that different from Havana syndrome. I was also coincidentally located in a hotel frequented by other military and government employees the first time I had an "attack". I'd really like to know if these embassy employees got training on or near our military bases prior to this occurring. I know a lot of civilians that work overseas who did get such training prior to departure. I don't think our enemies need sci-fi weapons to make us ill-- our government is already doing a fantastic job at irreversibly polluting our environment.

A fair amount of scientists (outside of the government) see no evidence of an actual device or weapon at play. A small group feel its a ploy. Theres actually a audio file you can play on your phone that only children up to 13 or so can hear. Ive actually tested it on my nephews. They came running into the room asking what that sound was. All the adults in the room could hear nothing. I'll suspend making a conclusion after something definitive or a FOIA in 30 years about it being PsyOps.

I remain open to definitive/measurable evidence...that would certainly change the confidence level I hold in my claim or perhaps lead me to adopt your's and media reports. There may actually be an environmental cause/explanation that wouldn't require a malicious/intentional actor targeting American individuals. Do I believe COVID was nasty and killed a lot of people...yes. Could it have been designed in a lab and accidently/ purposely released...sure. If there were an investigation that proved it was engineered...I'd accept that vs what appears to be a natural infection of zoonotic origin. I'm just not one to jump to salacious conclusions until proven.
