Shem Talons Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the other zionists and neocons who surrounded them, plus Tony Blair, have been tried in absentia by the International Court of Justice in Malaysia and found guilty of war crimes. On that panel there were some prominent US and European lawyers. Blair went public on TV afterwards and apologized, which is not enough. Amazing.. Saddam was their greatest true ally in the Middle East, spanking America's greatest enemy! The counter-weight, the pin in the grenade. Till the Yanks took that pin out. But fear not .. they ain't finished. Assad next, and blame it on the Russians who have had a strategic ally with Syria, a sea base on the Med coast since the early 70's. How many overseas bases have the Yanks got? A hundred and how many? Gadaffi warned them .. take me out and Europe will be flooded by African migrants. He swore to Berlusconi he would stop migrants .. and he did.

Alsatiagent It's not the latest buzz word. It's a meaningful symbol I'm casting before swine apparently . So you must have zero insight to not see impending threats to freedom and democracy since the inception of the United States and how they manifest today. In addition you necessarily pay attention to non issues. And fucking blow me with your high and mighty podium high horse moral superiority bullshit "thin veil and the ether not giving a fuck about who is enlightened" you have the geopolitical understanding of a 5 year old. At 5:21 in the afternoon of 9/11, almost seven hours after the Twin Towers had come down, Building 7 of the World Trade Center also came down. The collapse of this building was from the beginning considered a mystery. [1] The same should have been true, to be sure, of the collapse of the Twin Towers. But they had been hit by planes, which had ignited big fires in them, and many people assumed this combination of causes to be sufficient to explain why they came down. But WTC 7 had not been hit by a plane, so it was apparently the first steel-framed high-rise building in the known universe to have collapsed because of fire alone. New York Times writer James Glanz quoted a structural engineer as saying: “[W]ithin the structural engineering community, [WTC 7] is considered to be much more important to understand [than the Twin Towers],” because engineers had no answer to the question, “why did 7 come down?”

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." --President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998 "If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." --President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 "Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest securitythreat we face." --Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998 "He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." --Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998 "[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." - Letter to President Clinton, signed by: Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998 "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." -Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998 "Hussein has chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." -Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999 "There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies." Letter to President Bush, Signed by: - Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), and others, Dec 5, 2001 "We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." - Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002 "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country... Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." - Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002 "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." -Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002 "The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." - Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002 "I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002 "There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction.” - Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002 "He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do" -Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002 "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." -Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002 "We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." -Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002 "Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..." -Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

I got to kind of know Iraq as a very small kid when my little friends used to talk about their fathers working in Iraq, especially girls were missing them. All of them told how daddy's are driving caterpillars which was a very interesting thing for us. When growing up we learned they were building civilian infrastructure with people all around the world, some were working on caterpillars although many were specialists in fields of electronics, architecture, water treatment and similar. Seeing what has US done in Iraq is sad because even socialist governmental press allowed us to know the truth back then. Supposedly "free and super democratic" capitalist parliamentary democracy simply closed the channel and started reporting news from one side only.

Interesting, while I agree with some of his assertions, I am also weary of his motives then and now and what he has truly done in the past. He faced some tough questions because this is no laughing matter, not to mention that he is the perfect candidate that any news network of the world would have done anything to interview during the Bush presidency. He crafted is answers while looking down whether that be a character trait, nerves or well trained startedgy, who knows? Yeah, sure he right, but how much did he do at the time of his realization that it's all wrong? Amy was spot on with one question concerning Zarkawi, and his answer can easily be disputed as false but they let him off because it's still kind of a win to have somebody of the early Bush administration talk of that time and their involvement. Anyway's, very interesting yet troubling at the same time, to have watched this.

We observe two completely different philosophies in action. That of what the public should be allowed to and perhaps wants to hear, and the less obvious of the string-pullers behind the scenes. You cannot bring those two onto a common denominator, for they do not serve the same purposes. The public is expected to want to hear about things 'they' value, small things, people things, moral things, things they can relate to on a daily basis. The string-pullers don't share those values and ideas, but feel a very slight obligation to make things sound like they're "in the public interest". They're NOT! They never are. The only level on which string-pullers relate to the public, is the public's money, their taxes. They want to make sure that this money keeps coming in, so they soothe the public with outrageous lies, scare-tactics etc. The public believes and keeps footing the bills, at the cost of less services to themselves. Talking about martyrs. This will never change, for those who pull the strings don't want the public to discover what really goes on. Eventually, it will all collapse, something not even the great intellects of high finance can prevent or have a solution for. Doesn't it feel that such is about to happen in the not too distant future?

I’m not a believer in torture either but people crying to show how far to the left they lean and calling sadism dignified is hard to hear

I think America believes her brand of Democracy should work everywhere on earth. But time and time again, we have seen that failing to recognize the history, culture, beliefs, language, and the unique positions of the different demographics around the world when pursuing this ameirican type democracy, always ends in disaster and yet America continues to do so again and again.

Did that serve as any lesson to US foreign politics? they are doing the same in Syria, Libya, Yemen and many other places all over the world. Will Bush, Colin Powell and others involved be questioned? no. Saddam deserved his end on a personal level, he was evil and didn't give a shit about his own people, he was building palaces all over Iraq in the 90's while, we, Iraqis, has no clean or a new bed sheet in a hospital, no electricity and public services were almost ZERO and lots of kids sitting on the floor in the classroom in many schools. Nothing changed, it is worse now, we have 10-15 Saddams each with his own militia and everyone serves some other country's policy in Iraq, some belong to Iran, some belong to KSA, some belong to US and so on...

the biggest problem is we have the wrong people in charge, after WWII, Congress wanted to hang the imperor of Japan, which would have served no purpose and would have caused havoc, but General McArthur had the wisdom to resist such calls for vengeance. An today, Japan like Germany is a model of democracy. vengeance us not justice,....personally I did not feel that the killing of Sadam or Ben Lauden serverd any purpose except vengeance, an was even counter productive...we should not allow those who are only concern with their loss or aulteror motives (revenge) however terrible, to take us into such wars...I am no one, an like many, I said it was going to be a deaster, we elect people based on popularity not intelligence, wisdom and a unbiased agenda to represent all the people, not just those who got them elected.... a good leader does what is in the best interest for everyone, not just to satisfy those who supported them, a good leader listens to all sides before deciding on the best course of action, War,, acts of war should always be a last resort..., thank you

While our existence is based on fossil fuels, there will never be peace in the Middle East or any other place with oil. Our refusal to acknowledge that, may lead to our demise. Some of the answers can be found in knowing WHO has to gain the most out of our continuous dependence on oil. Our support for the vile regimes in oil rich countries will produce the threat from 'radicalised' individuals.
