Not bragging but I definitely understand what my brother in arms is saying. Originally, I was a checker and thought that sizing up someone’s groceries as they put them on the belt to properly bag each item with similar items was all there was (comparative to Seal teams)! Then, I was recruited by the (SCC) self checkout command where I had the opportunity to see the bigger picture of how individuals bagged their own groceries (comparative to CIA) which totally diminished all or at least most of my pride at my prior command.

To the best of my knowledge Shawn was not a “spy” or “case officer”. He was a contractor (99% sure GRS).

your correct on that topic. i think. maybe the "one" secret topic they do not speak about. probably HR security. like some from Benghazi. seems like a good guy, shawn is. that is not my issue. he served his nation. these shows reveal, talk and say WAY too much. and not it is not you can not speak of missions. training, vetting, equipment, selection are all very restrictive. were they are not restrictive. common sense kicks in. good luck with common sense in the click bait, marketing, likes and revenue land of: youtube.

I was an basic infantryman in Baghdad around 2005. I got tasked out to a PSD team for division level pysops team for like 3 months. This was totally normal for combat arms guys to serve small stints as protection for high ranking people. But I had to get a secret clearance in order to do it. It was very easy. Just basic background checks. After that, I had a TOC badge and had access to SIPR net computers as well as regular internet. Got to see classified briefings and all that shit. To say having secret clearance is something special Is stupid. That’s why all these Seals and SOF guys get out and write books and do TV and podcasts. We really don’t have many secrets apart from nuclear codes that isn’t widely available to the public. You can go on a public tour of the pentagon, you can read books, you can learn just about any “secret information” for just about anything out there. Again, apart from nuclear stuff if any kind, most of that stuff is pretty locked down.

GBs are always on missions but yeah Vanilla team seals don't get much they train hard but they do security detail an humnit pretty much

Jesus Christ it’s actually extremely embarrassing for Shawn he was exploited with all the misleading titles this guy has done. GRS is a security component. It’s not a Cia officer or SOG/SAD. Also the other video says Mi-6 trained. Understand they train a lot of people but that doesn’t make you MI6 or any affiliation at all.

that's funny. dorey's title's are the near "definition" of click bait advertising. main target: 18-30 no military, call to duty warrior's. life, experience and "action" are all conducted from the couch. well, maybe the 'fridge also. the listen to these guys and the get their "make believe" fill. dorey gets ratings and revenue. that is the 'roll in jersey. click bait 101 are his headings.

I would love to know if Shawn was in Kosovo in early 2000’s. Because I was there and met 4 seals that took out a 5 man team we had found. Shawn really looks like one of those guys, that I had met and showed them the location of these men The only thing he really said to me was “they won’t be there in the morning brother” and they weren’t. We never seen them again

sorry to burst your puberty bubble. if you are trying to say "team" and and not term professional, that is not occurring here on this "talk" show. shawn contributed to our nation and NS. he is not the only one. i served our nation for 25yrs and did 5 yrs with DoS in afghanistan. even if someone "gave me" a podcast show, i would not talk, yapp, gossip and "reveal" like these guys do almost every, every week. what is "not" cool: i will not go into a rant here. there are way, way and i mean "WAY" too many of these talk, tell all shows on YT. Dorsey is just another. all jockeying for likes, thumbs up, subscription and buy a t shirt or such. the topics, discussion, thread lines should not be open source like this on this level. i get it, it is a marketing and sales line for $. put in your header..."..agency, spy...SEAL.." and it has click bait appeal to any 18-25yoa dude. so it is one big marketing and sales line. you would think they would keep most, not all; of this information compartmentalized and quiet. nope, not in the mega world of YT. hey maybe even foreign entities are watching, learning and recording. hey, but what does that matter in the YT world of likes and "sales". the agency guys i knew (and a few) retired and never sold a book, T shirt, pod cast or istagram. but they had different principles, values and "outlook" our NS and our nation then these "talk a lots".

"..agency, spy...SEAL.." and it has click bait erection and appeal to any 18-25yoa dude. so it is one big marketing and sales line. click bait "101" you would think they would keep most, not all; of this information compartmentalized and quiet. nope, not in the mega world of YT. hey maybe even foreign entities are watching, learning and recording. hey, but what does that matter in the YT world of likes and "sales". the agency guys i knew (and a few) retired and never sold a book, T shirt, pod cast or istagram. but they had different principles, values and "outlook" our NS and our nation then these "talk a lots" talking heads of difference of "agency" and this. and tell me "more information" on XYZ. yes, the bs line of always--not revealing sensitive or active missions. folks this is called "cracks"...they talk WAY to much on things that should NOT be on a non-vetted YT channel. oh well they need click bait $, revenue ratings and a 1million--"thumbs" up, i guess.

Do you feel better now playing big boy at the adult's table? Just change your handle to "Jealous N. Notascapable", as it's obvious you're an idiot exaggerating yourself to strangers with no accountability so your ego can admire yourself in an empty room. Put yourself in a room with team guys and read your comment to them....bet you a wallet and a bank account you can't look them in the eyes out of fear of seeing the compassion or contempt for what's fake.

Yeah and i bet you think watching military movies gives you insider knowledge too. Nothing they give away cant be taught to you in a civilian run class. If people want to train to be dangerous there are more than enough avenues to do that. Podcasts with military members or spies are entertaining but not equivalent to training by any means.

@@reiserkeiser obviously this is not you "game". it is not overt speaking. they talk for frinkin' hours, hours and hours. nobody, can talk and flap their lips like that from the INTeL community that much and not reveal valuable information..when the parts are put together. listen--listen and get off on this stuff all you want. those that "did" this stuff and were depthful operators. never, ever...and I mean EVER go on childish YT and talk to the extent these guys do. that is called: "a" rule. for one reason these shows "exist" and our popular--for one reason: revenue and ratings from people that listen and "dream" those missions and operators were "them". i could care less if you agree or not: these guys reveal WAY too much information like if this was an official de-briefing. if you do not know that phrase...look it up on YT or instagram or whatever.

i never knew such (claimed) "shadows" could talk, talk and talk so much. wow. and talk and "talk" and talk. maybe they get a class on that during train up. "how to talk about your missions after leaving the agency"? maybe. knew 2 guys both retired agency. both now live overseas. one did 20yrs and the other 32. both retired. notice this not the case for "talk a lot" mr. ryan. few years and off to internet, marketing and YT channel land. the guys i know would eat a "bullet" before going on a YT talk show and telling "their" story's like this. if you met them you would think retired college professor, govt "official". ask them to "tell you a story" or talk like and with a video/audio rolling. they might put one in your medulla and go to lunch. those strory's were in sweat, blood and sacrifice. not for cheap, PR YT and click bait "bs". that should speak and "say" for these former operator's and their "talk a lot" programs and videos.
