"Cibequi Apache Crown Dancers"

Recorded at Apache Jii Days in Globe Arizona. I asked the leader of the group if I could upload to You Tube. He is the pounding on the drum leading the vocal as the dancer preform. He was more than glad I'd recorded the dancers, so they could share with friends.

the little guy is awesome. actions speak louder than words. Keep it up yah'zhii . . lovin it. teach your children/grandchildren. this how traditions are passed down. many prayers for your people from youngest to oldest, even the ones not here yet. ;~))

@@rd47blog that's cool I noticed from other vid with the kid crowns they used greens not the wood things so he or going from that isnt a kid,thanks some cool stuff. I trip out on these dances have alot in similar stuff with other dances I've seen ,sounds they make and stuff.

They put on such a great show. I would love to hear some explanations about the symbolism and the story of the dance itself. There must be a fascinating story that goes with the performance. Very cool!!!!
