Can you talk more about Meow? Why does Toujiro never acknowledge her existence? Maybe about the split personalities in general. I find it funny that they casually drop that the majority of gauntlet knights have multiple personalities but Miyao and Naima are really the only ones known.

You talking about the earthquake lottery made me remember that Gunhild used to always bet on earthquakes happening everywhere all at once… What happened to all the money she won from that? It’s been a while since I read the story, so I don’t remember if they ever mentioned the money again, or even specified the scale of the money she made. Either way, I believe her suddenly getting a lot of money would open the door for her to perform many actions that might otherwise not have been possible (Bribing her way into the research facility?), and it would also give incentive to murder her to steal her money. Unrelated to that, I wonder if it is even possible to steal money by murder in Ciconia, since it’s probably stored in the brain anyways… These are surface observations, and frankly not that interesting, but perhaps it could lead to something more if you dig a bit deeper. Let me know what you think if you find it interesting.

Right after the earthquake, the narration discusses the fact that multiple people bet on it. It says there were enough of them that they have to split the winnings and none of them individually got very much. So, I don't think that had any big effect. Also, from what I recall, the scene where Gunhild describes her own bet is pretty confusing about what exactly it is she bet on. I only vaguely remember that, though. As a last note, the point of the lottery is nominally to raise money to pay out to localities affected by earthquakes. So, a global earthquake could have a significant financial effect on various governing bodies all over the world, as well as on the solvency of the lottery itself. But, I could never connect that idea to any plot points, so I don't know if it really means anything.

actualy in the phase 2 preview it like talks about the posibility of turning all oceans into the color of blood (making the connection to higurashi and eua taking about the "world with the red sea" from where vier was from
