Travel hacks for parents against the Pressure problem of your toddler: bring some snacks for them to eat while the whole starting and landing, the chewing will help a lot to release the pressure in small pops, so they dont even feel it.

I fly Spirit Airlines and I am able to purchase an entire row of seats (usually 3) by the emergency exit for less than 1 seat on a major airline like Delta, United, etc. This works awesome because I am 6'7" 265 lbs with a 59" chest and 24" arms. This way, neither I nor any other passengers are uncomfortable having to sit next to me and I can sprawl out with my body and any of the gear I bring along such as my firearms which are in a locked case.

Something to drink or some sweets would do it better (depending on age). This may work better. Last time I told a new mother not to feed her baby before the flight. Feeding during takeoff will help the baby with pressure change.

We used to take redeyes when our son was young. We also have him a bottle to drink as we took off and landed. Never had an issue with crying.

Just tell the mother that her baby’s ears are hurting so ask the to yawn for the baby in hopes that the baby will yawn too. Or ask to try to get the baby to blow it’s nose. If that doesn’t work throw the baby out of the window.

I wish I knew this last August. I got a head cold in Canada and when we were landing I was actually crying and I was telling my mom how sorry I was to all the babies I made fun of lol. This is great to know now in case it happens again!

Emergency exit row means there’s a row missing in front of you so plenty of leg room. It was more comfortable than a car

The first thing happened to me and it was so bad I swear to got, There were still 30 minutes left for landing and i started having some weird sort of ache on my right eyebrow, it felt like an electric shock.. A bad one.. I was already in so much pain but then this ache/sensation started spreading to my forehead and then the whole head and then my ear (all right side of my face).. It felt like half my fave was about to burst.. I was literally pulling my hair as it got so bad, but the flight attendants were nice and brought me warm water bottles and told my mom to put it on the right ear, and drink warm water along with doing so.. It was actually my fault as I had a pretty bad cold while travelling ( I usually have it, sort of an allergy) and uve been absolutely terrified of flights from that day.. I'm pretty sure I'm not going anywhere on flights now.
