Fuse #87 is for the FRONT cigarette lighter
Fuse #88 is for the REAR cigarette lighter (it is located just to the right of the fuse Ive replaced)

On my 2010 E60, the front 12V socket is Fuse #87. ( 20A) Top row in Trunk Fuse Box

What if you get no power at all is that a short? The red cable is a bit melted close to the terminal. No power to those last top few fusez

Can you please help me and tell me if your lighter socket has a cord connected on the back or does it not have a cord on the back of it? Mines has no cord attached it just flops down and no power either to it like yours.I have a 530i 2007

Yes some fuses may not get power unless the ignition switch is on the ON position.

61 was for vehicles up to 09.2005 after that it is 87 for the front and 88 for the rear lighter fuse
