Because of your review of the Cignus Freetalk CG-325 I was able to find a two way radio that I can use at home without the need for a license. Thank you very much Sir! 😊

Hello sir Angelo, can you look into the new Cignus RealTalk 325Mhz SRRS ? similar to this line up
@jangeloracoma Жыл бұрын
Thanks. It seems to be similar ti the S80 series, which uses batteries compatible with Kenwood TK-3000 and TH-K20A. Those particular radios are 5 watt radios, so I think this would have better performance than the CG-325XT, which run on a lower-voltage platform.

Hey sir Angelo! Since SRRS has its own allocated frequency, which cannot be access with 2m and 70cm band, meaning to say you got only a handful of people or none even using this frequencies? If thats the case, would this be great po if you really want to have privacy and want to only hear the people who have the other radio? Thinking of buying the cignus.

Hello. The 35X.XX band is sometimes used by licensed businesses also. However, I believe the NTC allocated the SRRS 324.xx and 325.xx MHz specifically for SRRS. Aside from personal use, businesses can also use SRRS for their short-range communication. Note, though, that it has 40 channels in total. Most radios support only 16 channels. The Cignus radios I reiewed can use all 40 channels (3 banks of 16 channels each). Also, you can actually program the frequencies and CTCSS codes using computer. Thus, YMMV :)

Yes sir, as long as they have the same or similar channelings. Since SRRS only has 40 channels, you will most likely have common/corresponding channels between these radios. Most radios will be sold with Channel 1-16 (given a 16-channel selector). Some will let you access the different banks of 16 channels each.

Hello, Sir. How about Cignus CG-2w, kelangan po ba ng license? If kelangan, paano po at hm?
@jangeloracoma Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the related response. It's a UHF radio so you need a license to use frequencies that are allocated to you or your business or commercial group. If your business or commercial group has a license, you need to have a restricted land mobile (RLM) permit for it. You can also take the exam for amateur licensing. Hello po how can we extend the range of the CG325? Are there external antennas available for these type of radios?
@jangeloracoma3 жыл бұрын
NTC prohibits the use of external antennas on SRRS, unfortunately. It's not like in the US where GMRS lets users set up GMRS repeaters and 50-watt base stations. So SRRS is very much limited in terms of range.
