Hi Veena..nice attempt..and I have a suggestion for you. If you fry the chicken crisp, the shelf life will increase...and taste too...I too have cook chicken pickle. And I use only pepper powder and salt to marinate chicken..and fry it crisp and brown..it's the tastest way...I use more garam masala too..around 1.5 tsp of garam masala for 500 grams of chicken.

Veena's Curryworld my father's family is also from Trissur. I wasn't raised in Kerala but it so happened that I am able to understand and follow whatever you say very well.
