Rose hips taste like green apples. Sweet and sour. I bought rose hip jelly at a farmer's market. It's good. I add Rose Hips to Oolong tea. The sour taste compliments the tea flavor.

They are rose hips. After the flower blooms and leaves, the remaining part forms a seed packet that becomes the hip. You can eat them for the vitamin C or you can grow a new rose with them.
