As a lonely teenager I hoped that somewhere, somehow a girl would feel this way about me. I had to wait a few more years but the wait was worth it. I can happily say that such a girl found me and we have had a wonderful life together.

1964/65 *Just out of high school me* spent many nights in "teen clubs" and this was one of those songs you waited for so you could actually hold her in your arms ... This lady, Dusty Springfield, Leslie Gore and The Righteous Brothers were just what you wanted. Cilla was a "little lady with the big voice" and was appreciated for her talent and songs that let you *polish your belt buckle*

they do if you look at BGT. But, they let themselves get inspired by todays music which is not always good. I just heard a woman, 57yo, sing this song on BGT. She was super. I have often wondered why nobody take up the great songs of the 60ies by Dusty and Cilla.

Juliet by the Four Pennies was a wonderful song, I was 14 years old then and have great memories of that time. Music and groups were so different from the past and Britain ruled the music scene.

Actually, though this is good, I prefer the instrumentation of the single release - it suits the punchiness of the vocal better, IMO, without intruding. Here the brass (?) intrudes, and the violin stabs are a bit swamped.
