Celebrimbor and Anatar were highlights of season 2 for sure! Charles Edwards acting was phenomenal! My favorite character by far! I was a little confused about his character in the first season but in season 2 you see the full extent of his development! He just wanted to make something that he would be remembered by! And much like how Halbrand became exactly what Galadriel needed (The king of the southlands) Anatar became exactly what Celebrimbor needed! It was heartbreaking to watch unfold!

People can say whatever they want about The Rings Of Power. But I believe that they really created something amazing with this character! As Celibrimbor says “True creation requires sacrifice” there may have been some bad stuff in the show. But in the end we got this one of a kind performance!

Many say he should have been a warrior, but this character in ROP is one of the best I had seen in a long time. I will miss him, really sad but magnificent ending

I agree! I much prefer the sort of kindly but flawed soul they made him in this show... its a lot more interesting than some epic warrior would have been in my opinion.

My favorite moment from him is when he echoes Sauron's words: "whose will is mightier" and cuts his hand off to escape (like Maedhros, his uncle!). Absolutely brilliant, and this video really captures his arc. Wonderful!

People are praising Charlie Vickers as Sauron and he deserves it but man Charles Edwards Celebrimbor is fire. I like how he's more of an "artist" of the forge rather than the book version where he was a beefy gigachad of a forge master which was cool too but it's awesome to see another kind of portrayal instead.

Brilliant edit! I got chills, too! I had seen Charles Edwards play Benedict in “Much Ado About Nothing” and loved his performance, but when I first saw him as Celebrimbor, he was not how I pictured Celebrimbor, but dang if he did not become it by the end. Emmy award-winning performance.

Rings of Power S2 was a massive improvement over S1, thanks in no small part to the absolutely riveting Celebrimbor/Sauron dynamic. Im excited for S3.

I admit like a lot of the show's detractors I had misgivings about casting Charles Edwards. I was wrong, Edwards might be a bit old for the part, but he has captured who Celebrimbor is in every way that is truly important, and few others could have done it as wonderfully as he has.

Unlike Shadow of Mordor/War, Rings of Power got Celebrimbor’s kind and prideful personality right. He is not another Feanor. I wouldn’t say for his appearance though as he is younger than Galadriel but older than Elrond.

The show aims to portray some elves as elder and as mentors to the younger members of the cast. I think the angle of Celebrimbor being a well seasoned and beyond-his-prime elf, yet still striving to leave his mark on history, serves this portrayal of the character well.

@@ryankwon8785 I think in the show's canon, they made Galadriel younger to fit the hotheaded protagonist narrative. Plus, even though he's Féanor's grandson, Celebrimbor could only be 200 years younger than him

Самое грустное в этом сезоне смерть моего любимого эльфа-кузнеца, Келебримбора. Есть еще одно, это всеобщая ненависть к сериалу даже от самых преданных поклонников фэнтези. Но если это такое ужасное шоу по мнению "всех", почему же мне так жаль старину Кела, почему Саурон вызывает презрение, плохое шоу не вызывало бы таких эмоций. RIP Celebrimbor.
