Elrond is the only character with intimate friendships in Season 1 and this actor nailed it every time. I watched the show for him and the beauty of the production. I feel like Season 2 finally caught up to Elrond.

This is brilliant! Elrond is my favourite character and Robert Aramayo has shown such character depth and development of a younger Elrond. Hope to see more of him as Herald / Commander (and Warrior!) in the seasons to come.

I feel sorry for Elrond in the end of Season 2. I wish we could go back to the Herald, hiding in the forest to do his work, jesting with his best friend Durin. Now we saw him having to take decisions that could make him lost his friends, watching destructions, and ended up realising that he might have failed his father's foresight.

I know most people already know but, Elrond and Galadriel are not in love! according to the Simmarilian, Galadriel is Elronds mother in law.

makes me wonder if the Elven ring let Elrond foretell that he would become Galadriel's son-in-law in a few millennia, and that his daughter would marry a mortal king a few thousand years later. Then again, where would the fun be if he had known everything beforehand.
