Adding music to the ride:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, KZbin, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride...

Thank you for your feedback Daniele. We provide what we think is the best rides. But when it comes to music it is very subjective matter, and we do not want to spoil a beautiful ride with terrible music. So we encourage adding ones own favorite music and get the perfect ride.

@@BiketheWorld Actually disabling the sound is always an option. I find natural road sounds a nice feature to add (cars passing by, shifting, tarmac roughness...)

@@simonrano8072 Hi Simon, thank you for your comment. Originally we wanted to record the sound in dolby surround to support the awesome ride with a really great sound experience. But unfortunately, the natural sound of the surroundings is drowned by noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing. It is really not a nice experience. Even with very expensive rode microphones.

@@BiketheWorld THank you for the answer. I guess I am the only one actually liking these recording sounds :) I have one question regarding your application. I see that it is able to match the video speed if connected to a smart trainer. I have a "manual" trainer but I have accurate power readings from my Stages (Bluetooth). Is it possible for you application use power data to adapte the video feed speed of a given climb ?

@@simonrano8072 Hi Simon, thank you for your interest in how we can provide an even better indoor cycling experience. The prime problem is the vibration from the road is transplanted into the microphone. But passing cars are also extremely noisy. At the level of a vacuum cleaner... And then there is the heavy breathing of the rider. All in all, not something that helps to get an immersive cycling experience... We hope to find a solution to the sound issue.
