Yes, the Vanity's Stun player used Instant Fusion after Dragonoid Generator, but he could've just as easily summoned two tokens, or used Instant Fusion first THEN used Generator, since Generator locks you from the Extra Deck for the rest of the turn, so it makes no difference in the outcome of that match.

@@jiraiyajr344 it's literally in the card. How are you unsure? No, it does not activate if it's face-down. It does, however, activate if it was attacked, as it gets flipped up during the damage step. But if it never gets flipped up, like if it's just tributed, it doesn't activate, as far as I know.

@@RobinNashVideos Being "Anti-Meta" doesn't mean it's not Meta. A deck is meta if a lot of people are using it and it does well. After Vanity Stun won that reigional it became Meta since it does well against basically everything being played right now and people are going out of their way to build it. The term Anti-Meta just means a deck is built to fight against the current Meta Game. That's it.

@@BlackNovaTCG That's a fair point, however, for me at least, being a meta means being the optimal deck to play, aka the best deck available. So that would be tier one decks like Orcust. People play anti meta, not because it's optimal, but because it's really good against the optimal pick. But the optimal choice is still a better deck overall, like Cimo said, Vanity stun reall struggles against rogue, while Orcust and other tier 1 decks usually don't.

Cimo, the Vanity’s stun player didn’t scoop on game 3. He was knocked out. He had played instant fusion and that other spell card (2k life gone) then paid another 1500 to summon (3.5 k gone), which put him at 4.5k, not 6.5k. So he got knocked out after those attacks

That Salamangreat Player has finally released his inner feelings and went Ultra Instinct on the Vanity Stun player lol In all honesty, that G3 is so damn satisfying to watch, because Vanity Stun is a deck that is very much skill-less and takes no brain to control (no offense, but it does), and it is very frustrating to watch when the skill-less wins imo

I feel like since the play by the vanity user could have been legal, it boils down to the opponent catching his mistake. Obviously this player being at a "Pro" event should have caught his own mistake, been like," my bad that wasn't a legal play," when it happened taken back the instant fusion, then this hateful comment section calling him a cheater wouldn't exist. People make mistakes, you all know you've messed up the order of card effects before, i know as a pendulum player it's happened to me before, and i apologized to my friends,.even if it took months to notice.

Still, this deck is topping and herald isn't, and I assure you the top players know what they're doing. If you disagree, then take a herald of perfection deck to a big event and see what happens. I might be wrong, but I doubt it.

Wait g2 salads got foxy, sanctuary and rage. He can summon foxy, not excavate,. Link balelynx, activate sanc discard rage summon foxy, summon wolf twice and add the discarded rage. Basically you just end on wolf instead of lynx

Its not optimal in all situations, but in my Salamangreat builds, I run 2 crusadia reclusia. It is a solid out to there can be only one, and is also a natural extender to get two level 3s on board.

It's incredibly fragile. I tested with it for about 20 games. First of all, it's not fun to play. Secondly, if they get rid of your one monster (sometimes two) you're pretty much done. Third, it's pretty shit against most rogue decks that don't focus on special summoning monsters or don't require that many monsters on board to win. Sure, you have the ritual monster's effect to protect, but that's ONE protection. Getting over one negate isn't that hard.
