pretty much all T0 level decks are combo decks. Dragon Rulers, Zoodiacs, Orcust, and TeleDad. Even most T1 decks like the Adamancipators, Dragonmaid-Rokkets and Kozmos were combo decks. if you want to play yugioh without having a lot of complex combos, rogue decks are the way to go such as -Blue Eyes -Invoked -Gren Maju -*Eldlich*

Every person I know who plays orcust is playing borreload savage. The combo is that you synchro orcust knightmare with lvl 1 tuner (mostly jet synchron or glow up bulb) and choose the knightmare link monster you used for mermaid from the GY and equip it to borreload savage. Borreload savage now have 2 tokens for extra negates.

Cimo, you actually made a slightly optimal placement. You should have Rusty in the left zone, not the right zone. This is because Galatea will be linked either way, because a monster is "linked" if it points to something, or if something points to it. The reason you place it in the left zone is because if your opponent summons a monster to the right EMZ, then Galtea will also be linked, meaning it can't be destroyed by battle. Obviously, this is something very minor, but nonetheless you should do it as there's no reason not to.

A few minor errors in the combos, in the first combo you want to summon rusty in the other extra monster zone. Linked doesnt mean that that monster has to point to an arrow, it means another arrow is pointing at the monster or your monsters arrow is pointing to another monster. So you want to summon galatea in middle zone leaving the right extra zone open in case they get over rusty your galatea is protected by pointing at your opponents extra monster zone monster. Also on second combo boots cant search brigandine, boots search pk s/t brigandine starts with "the phantom knights" not "phantom knights." Just some other additions if you have an extra extender as a monster but no time thief access then summon rusty in the other extra monster zone so at the end of the combo you can make longirsu and with his arrow pointing at the open xmz. Also you always do rusty first before summoning galatea in case your opponent has veiler or ash for rusty unless you have a extender to summon on field after you summon galatea from grave other wise you wont be able to link off for a second galatea after you summon dingirsu, if you have an extender in case rusty gets stopped then yeah summon dingirsu first before using rusty to play around ogre, the reason you wait to use rusty either early or later in combo based on your hand you know when to use galatea AnD know if you're gonna set the counter or babel off galatea because because if rusty gets ashed or veiler you're sitting there with a rusty and dingirsu without using galatea effect yet and no way to link into another galatea or get dingirsu in grave. Also get into habit of putting monsters that are gonna sit there till end of combo in the 2nd or 4th mmz in case something gets stopped during combo you have corner and mid zone open to link, that is where all your link monsters point to, no reason to have a monster you're waiting to link or xyz with sit in a valuable zone.

I've been playing against Orcust recently, it's a really annoying board to break, the double fog blade + infernity barrier is pretty darn strong. My best advice is run stuff like Lancea or Imperial Iron Wall, either that or Ash the Mermaid.

Cimo, another option is using isolde to force handtraps, if isolde is not stopped u can summon shadow mist and then dark law ( if u have an exterder u can summon him under the mermaid)

I like the ophrys scorpio combo. You can end with either winda or millinium eyes. It is a 3 card combo, you need two discards in your hand with 1 being a monster.

the problem with orphys is both the garnet, which you already run a fair ammount of, the ammount of normals your deck plays (which could be less or more depending on your build) and how weak it is to handtraps and disruption in general. you're trading a strong 2nd turn for a stronger-er first turn, which you already have with the normal combo, not to mention a lot of decks don't die to winda alone.

Kinda depends on what type of orcust deck you are playing against. The danger variant will probably be able to summon a second one since it can summon a ton of monsters. Stopping the mermaid is not a terrible call, but if they discard a knightmare or a harp then you'll still have to deal with a galaga at minimum, or the full combo if they have another extender. Stopping the bard is usually the safer move, since you then just have to deal with a negation/ ding interruption in your turn.

Roar has to negate Connector if your opponent starts with it. If not, Mermaid.

@@AstorThalis not true here. You're thinking of ash. Connector can't pop back row, although Pheonix can. Then again, impermanence, sanctum, rage, veiler, you have plenty of ways to stop Pheonix one way or another, including roar itself.

Ash is a completely different thing. Ash on Connector is useless because with a single extender he can goes into Mermaid and has the full combo. Ash on Mermaid or Orchust Knightmare is most effective. For Impermanence and Veiler, Mermaid is the only viable target. In case you have two and your opponent has a possibility to continue, you should drop the other on Rusty Bardiche to stop him from extending further.

@@thatwackycardgame5655 limit fog blade is a lot more reasonable, it let's phantom knights keep their best trap but every deck can't set two so they need another way to capitalize on Rusty. I think Mermaid will get banned but I could see them turning it into something like SPYRAL where you limit a Garnet, as in limit Knightmare. It makes the deck much less consistent because drawing Knightmare makes your play much less consistent and much worse, but the deck still stays relevant and I don't know if it will be relevant if Mermaid is banned. Also limit Connector is an indirect hit but they seem to like Neo Spacians so we won't see that.

If you don't include the dangers in the deck most of the core is pretty cheap. Most of the core cards aren't very expensive, but Dingirsu is like 35 bucks a copy which is pretty bad considering you need that card to play the deck.

Ah, a fellow intellectual. I would love that but he won't cover them. Nothing has changed, really. I believe Team Kings of Games has Crystron every once in a while but otherwise it's a very underappreciated deck, and it's my favorite. I know it's not amazing, and I know it's not the most useful, but I love the playstyle. Knowledge is power, and Crystrons are God-tier in the category of being unknown. That's sad, but it's also a strength. Nobody knows how to counter them. Nobody know to save the ogre for their turn. Nobody realizes they just got black rosed. They also always try to veiler Sulfefanir, which clearly doesn't work. That's just bad reading skills.

If you're smart you can go into longirsu from galatea and an extender and use skeleton to pop her back from grave and then use her eff and set either field spell or counter and dingirsu over her and you have those two with bardiche and two fog blades

Seems like if they start with a normal summon of the neos guy you can just interrupt that and they have no where to go without another special. i was playing this deck against sky strikers and struggled to do any combo

You just know that Phantom Knights will get hit in some way. The trap is probably getting limited and Bardiche is close to gettig banned. Also the link 1 knightmare is the enabler for all of this, so maybe that card gets banned (Knightmares were a mistake) Day 86 of waiting for new Volcanic support to arrive

@@tedm8528 I just watched the latest lithium2300 video where he tested the new Evil hero support. The opponent was playing Orcust-Phantom Knights, and went from 0 cards in hand and field to a +10(probably even more) just because of the stupid Orcust-Phatom Knights engine. Can you explain to me how that is fair and not broken in any way? I don't remember any deck having this much recovery potential in the history of yugioh (if you have any other examples, please enlighten me) Edit: I would also like to add that all of the above happened after lithium managed to brake a 4-5 CARD NEGETION FIELD!!!!!! This is really a big problem right now. Edit 2: Just know that I am not hating/disliking you or anything like that for liking Phantom Knights or Orcust. It's okey to have a deck you like and play and don't wan't the cards getting bannned, but sadly this here seems to be a really big problem right now that needs to be fixed in some way or another. Hope no more edits :)

"Retard-Yugioh" - that's what i call what Orcust is a Great Example for! The Term that i created means that you get Rewards for EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING. Whetever you just Draw or just Normal Summon a Monster, you get a Reward for everything, and simply chaining these Things in the Right Order allows you to be rewarded more, and more, and more - that's NOT STRATEGY, that's RETARDED - hence the Name. In an Orcust Deck with the Right Hand Traps, you can make an Hour-long Turn. I once saw how someone literally did Every Move/Option you can do in Yugioh! Every one of them! From moving attack position to defense position to all Summoning Ways but Fusion, it was all there! Retard-Yugioh and Konamis Retarded Direction, that is going the completly and extremly wrong way, is just Sad. I'm Sad what Yugioh became. The Strategy is just gone. It's Dead.

You can go into Longirsu instead. Not as many interruptions, but it sends to the graveyard and lets you shuffle back resources which is good.

Topologic Bomber is way better than either of those, still four interruptions. Two field wipes one Longirsu and one Dingirsu. Still working out the logistics of getting Longirsu on board without using cymbal.
