Crazy is Exactly right. He is one of those dudes that is a game changer. He is not just a TE. He can block, run screens, and is an exceptional slot receiver. Besides all of that he will be cheaper to keep on contract than a WR.

​@@bryanturner4686 We have Gesicki who is a good red zone receiver, and Fuaga is an excellent run blocker who can play guard or tackle for us. Tight End is not the weakness it was going into last season. If you want a game changer one of the stud wideouts would be better than a Tight End. Brian Thomas, Jr. might still be there at #18.

This is the most accurate forecast I've seen. Fuaga and Robinson I think will be the first two picks if available. Passing on Bowers isn't crazy at all if Fuaga can kick inside to guard until he's ready to take over at right tackle. I would take Jared Verse, Laiatu Latu or Cooper Dejean if one of them fell to #18 because our pass coverage and tackling was bad, but I think the Bengals are more concerned about OL.

Fuaga is my first pick as well if available at 18. The D.Robinson pick was a shocker as I have not heard his name come up in any mocks, but willing to do more research on him. Polk I have seen come up quite a bit but still would prefer to have a 3rd round trench or CB player that can play outside. Still appreciate the content and insight shared from a non Bengals standpoint. 🫡

I agree. Outside of an injury to Hubbard or Hendrickson, I don’t see the value of an edge rusher in round 2. And they should look for a CB at some point. Awuzie left, Ivey is recovering from a season ending injury, and Turner was so-so last season. Some more depth at CB would be nice.
