Rick always seems mildly condescending and aloof when paired with Ryan Wilson. Like he's above even engaging. Noticed this for a while now. The content - great, the pairing...

Guess Rick has come full circle on Troy Franklin. I remember the look on Rick’s face the first time he was brought up on the show. Let’s just say he was not enthused lol. Now he has him as his day 3 impact player. I went the other way on him in that the more I watched the more questions I had, especially with respect to his hands and his ability to play through any kind of contact at the catch point. The route running is also very inconsistent and he’s a lot stiffer than you’d hope for a guy of his stature. And for a guy whose calling card is making plays on the deep ball he lost track of it in the air too much. The speed is real. And he’s a competitive kid. I think he’ll make some plays but I would be surprised if he didn’t also struggle quite a bit adjusting to the pro game.

The best part is that when he flip flops, deebo usually has the receipts. Or in this case, you do. Either way, looking forward to revisiting Franklin as the ‘24 season unfolds.
