As a loyal Bengals fan since 1969,I've been absolutely thrilled to have Joe as the team's leader, but after our trip to the Super Bowl, I feel we've taken a step back. The new additions to the team have yet to prove we can return to the previous team. I'll never say we can't get back to the 22 team, but the thrill is gone if we continue to play as we did last Sunday. Let's go, Bengals! Let's get it!

Different personal formations. Utilize your guys skill sets and adjust and game plan to your opponents schemes. It’s a good amount of X’s and O’s. Run the plays. Get the guys going. Utilize your guys’ skill sets. Joe doesn’t need a bunch of preseason. But you can’t just rely on shotgun dink and dunk alone. Any good consistent high scoring offense, utilizes personnel groupings for their guys strengths. Period. Do it. Get it done. Joe, I’m sure he’s on board for that. That way, you get into rhythm. That way, when you want to shotgun deep drop sets, your guys have the confidence and ability to deliver cuz they’ve been rolling on your diverse offense. They got diverse skillsets, use them. Diversify. Don’t be afraid of how much you’re showing earlier in the season. Play to win. Play to improve. Do it. Dang it. They got the dang talent. Joe is still accurate. Joe can still sling. I’m sure Joe is down to get the offense rolling. Use two RBs on the field, line one up as a tight end and then get him into open space on a reverse. And if the defense sees that coming. Audibile. Get creative and audible. Stay true to that shotgun thing, just allow your offense to punish the defense it sees. THEN, you can really dictate what you want to do TO THEM.

In my opinion they need preseason, not just Joe but the entire first unit on offense and defense, everything was disjointed. We have several pro bowl level offensive lineman but somehow every year they come to Cincinnati and forget how to block, the play calling still looks like week 1 preseason still, Zach Moss averages 4.9 yards per carry on 9 rushes, run the ball more it's clearly effective. The defense missed waaaay too many tackles and that's because they don't have live reps, practice is touch and light thud, they need live reps

In my opinion it seems that zac Taylor falls in love with his philosophy in the offseason and so he goes into the regular season to ridged with his game plan and seems to have this idea of easing into the game so he comes out extremely conservative and is too slow to adapt to the game, whereas as the season goes on he is essentially forced to change his approach which he is actually good at doing if only he could get to that point faster or even come in with that approach

On d we lost Reader (and it’s hurting us) and Bates. The corners are an upgrade, but Hubbard is past prime now. Defense I’m not too worried about yet based on this 1 game. This was supposed to finally be the training camp with a healthy Burrow and no drama. This has nothing to do with pre season reps for the offense. It has everything to do with Jamaar not practicing at all during camp. How do you build a gameplan around a guy that never practiced? The Tee Higgins late in the week hammy issue was where my feelings went south for this game. He was supposed to be the center of the offense while Jamaar got up to speed. Now without him it highlights how much of a disruption the Jamaar contract was. So it’s time to pay up. We are fortunate to be talking about him being a top 5 receiver instead of a draft bust. Pay the man so we can get on with the season already.

The offensive line is still the white elephant. Burrow has an ingrained mentality, from the last 3 years, that he has 1.7 seconds to throw! The line gets blown up somehow, somewhere 90 % of pass plays! That’s why he won’t line up under center, he wants to see who’s getting beat as soon as he can. Any team with a good or better d-line eats this o-line up! Poor Joe. We had the opportunity to draft quality interior linemen a couple times and we blew it. We won’t or can’t stop any pro bowl lineman period. They line them up out of position to take advantage of our poor line play. If Joe had a really decent line, we wouldn’t lose. He would have the time to find that receiver streaking for a touchdown! But we don’t pay guards, so we will have to rely on luck once again, and we were lucky in 21! 😢

I'm a lifelong Bengals fan and want them to win it all probably more than anything lol. But I am a Bengals fan and I'm used to the heart break that comes with that. He's not a team player it turns out. Whatever happens with him I'm good with as long as we dont let him walk for nothing. I'm tired of his shit. Thinks because his friends got paid then it's his turn. He shouldn't have held out a year in college because of the fake hoax that was COVID

It’s plain and simple, bad coaching, can’t get the running game going, can’t stop the run and on top of it all we have spoiled brats that want money!

Play calling was okay. Oline was okay. Burrow was timid and didn't attempt the necessary throws. Check out Goodberry's film breakdown.
