I don’t care what ppl say about Dunn and his strikeouts or his batting average. Dunn was clutch and he always came up big when he was needed to.

New stadium, all the drama, Adam Dunn, Jose Guillen, Sean Casey, and Aaron Boone looking like studs. Shame that Griffey and Larkin were not healthy. Given, Dunn finished the 2003 season with a .215 batting average and only 27 home runs (which is a low number in home runs for a big guy hitting low in batting average) Whats more impressive is that they 4-game-swept the Cards and that offense. I always considered 2003 the best Cards offense during the Pujols era.

all that offensive firepower but that 2003 team had injuries and pitching.

Surprised the Reds won 5 games in a row in 2003, they were pretty bad that year I used to listen to them on the radio while working my 2-11 shift everyday at Walmart that year....

injuries pitching and trading away key players done them in that year.
