Bruh...are you really responding to a seven year old comment about a regular season game that happened almost a decade ago? And did you think I was a Cincinnati fan? I don’t give a shit about either of these teams. That press conference was pure idiocy, that’s why I commented. “Who won?” Not you. Consider getting some new hobbies.

Mick Cronin said ALL the right things postgame. He did not mince words. Been a Xavier fan since the 80s with Pete Gillen, Byron Larkin and Tyrone Hill, but I lost a lot of respect for Chris Mack with his postgame comments.

I saw nothing wrong with Tu Holloway’s comments. I hate the fact that people tried to use this one spectacle to tarnish his legacy. Anyone who has ever competed understands that his words came from the heart. You can’t bottle passion.

Get your facts straight, Tu Holloway was running his mouth the entire game going up and down the bench, and the Xavier player pushed the UC player first. Oh and Mick Cronin was pure class after this game. Chris Mack I lost a lot of respect for him allowing those players to go run their mouths at a press conference after the game.

I'm glad that both teams have bounced back to play quite well after this incident. XU is 12 - 5. UC is 14 - 4 as of 1/18/12. Those of you who are non-athletes simply don't understand how it is to play in a rivalry game like this. That doesn't excuse the actions of any of those guys, but I do know what it is like to play in a game like that. It's pressure on the players. It's disrespect from players AND fans. It's overhyped as the biggest game of the year. Some can handle it. Some can't.

Not only is the brawl just upsetting, but the fact that Chris Mack let those thugs go out after the game and even talk was apalling. They should have only come out to apologize. Hell they shouldn't have come out at all. The only one who handled it correctly was Mick Cronin. Such a disgrace to both schools.

Alright, about the paid thing: I do think they should be getting some sort of allowances and at least getting to give their families tickets to games, but they shouldn't be paid. They're in college. Yes, they put a lot of hard work into it, which is why they should get an allowance, but not the big cheese that the NBA players are making. And they won't be getting paid anytime soon if players like Anthony Davis keep being One and dones, that doesn't help your case.
@moretwocome2113 жыл бұрын
@iamjeremy4life As mentioned, it was an embarrassment for both schools and the city. Apart from that, none of these players are innocent, and the players responsible should be held accountable for they're actions! Unlike yourself, I am looking at the incident from an objective stand point because bad behavior/wrong doing does not wear a uniform! I will concede however, that Cincy handled these post events much better then Xavier did.
