99" Adjustable P-Rail for $85?! Is the Madd Gear Ninety9 Grind Rail Any Good?

SSJ Meta Skates recommended I give this Madd Gear Ninety9 Adjustable Grind Rail a shot so I picked one up. It is advertised as a practice rail for Skatebaording, Rollerblading, and Scootering. It doesn't require any tools to assemble and can be adjusted to 3 different heights. The entire rail is 99 inches in length and 9 inches at its highest setting. It also has rubber on the feet to help keep it from sliding. But is it any good?

I got one of these and they're really good. I bought another one and drilled a hole in the end of one to attach two thirds of the other one with the supplied connectors. So now I've got a 165 inch rail and it's pretty much the perfect length now in my opinion. Enjoy!

Now that would be a fun length. I wonder if I got the right size, I could use a pvc pipe to attach 2.

@@Tryhardtri that could work pvc pipe in the middle and a couple of holes drilled so you can secure it when in position 🤔

It looks like 1”. You could play around with schedule 40 or schedule 80 (grey pipe-more expensive, but way more durable).

I just ordered one 🎉 technically for only 50 bucks I found a random gift card on the floor and it had 50 bucks on it and I payed the rest. Can’t beat it. I needed an inside rail since we have all this rain and abnormal cold California

They look good and they're great if you don't live near an indoor park, or obviously when we were all in lockdown. The only thing I'm not keen on is how low it is. Annoyingly, now you've made me think about buying one! Hahaha!

It is low, but practice is practice when you're stuck inside. I look at it like a piece of exercise equipment that's also fun. Also think of the possibilities bringing this to a street session.
