So I was considering doing a voiceover to talk about this, but I'm getting over a cold and still sound hoarse and nasally. So instead I am going to write a description! This puzzle was one that I did many years ago. In fact I believe this was the first puzzle I did that kind of kickstarted my puzzle hobby about 5-6 years ago. At that time, I wasn't gluing puzzles, so I broke it up and put it back in the box. Decided to do it again. I thought maybe it would be easier the second time around, but I was SO WRONG! This puzzle was HARD. Not only because of the pattern (that sky...), but because of the actual pieces themselves. There are a lot of "false positives", as you can see when it took me until the third row to realize I had put the top edge together wrong and had to break it apart and redo it! (Look around 10:53 to see it.) I also made a big tactical error. I was getting annoyed with all the sky pieces, so I decided to put together the sky. That worked okay when I was doing the moon and surrounding pieces, but then it quickly ran into a wall where I had to try a hundred pieces just to get one to fit. I should have changed tactics, but I am stubborn, so I probably wasted a good 1-2 hours going down that path before finally switching back to work on the castle (at 13:50 I finally sweep away the sky pieces). Definitely a little disappointed with myself for being so slow and stubborn, but I got there in the end! It's a beautiful puzzle and I had a lot of fun putting it together. Hope you enjoyed watching it come together!
