EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I saw the replies from you guys telling me the story was out, I immediately told my folks, and they watched it with me!! They are really glad to know that you guys wanted to make my idea real. :) Thank you so much for making this!!!!!! I couldn't stop smiling all the way through the story, and I was eagerly picking up every detail! While I love how you included most of my suggestions from the original concept, it's also amazing how you either changed them to better fit your version of her, or added new ones that I hadn't even considered. SIMILARITIES ~1. This story takes place after "Cinderella and the Crystal Kingdom", "Cinderella and the Magical Rainbow", and "Cinderella and the Garden of Dreams", and has her walk through the location of the third story. ~2. After Cinderella touches the fruit and wonders about a different life, the glass slippers appear by her side, and turn to blue crystal the minute she puts them on. ~3. She falls asleep under the tree while wearing the slippers, making her enter the dream/vision that lets her act out the classic Cinderella story. ~4. When she loses the slipper while fleeing the ball, it turns to solid glass. ~5. The stepsisters fit in the slipper for a change, but it's noticed that it stays glass when on their feet. ~6. When Cindy tries it on, the slipper turns to blue crystal, identifying her as the slipper's true owner. ~7. The prince is by her side when she wakes up, takes the slippers off her feet, and talks to her. ~8. Cinderella has learned by this point that no matter what life she lives, be it in dreams or reality, with her prince is where she will ultimately always belong. DIFFERENCES ~1. Cinderella wonders (rather than wishes) to see what her life would have been like without her adventures. ~2. The tree plays a lullaby for her to make her fall asleep rather than the slippers making her tired when she puts them on. Nevertheless, she still enters her vision, which is referred to as a dream here. ~3. At the ball, the slippers turn back and forth from glass to blue crystal with every step she takes, only turning to solid glass once they're off her feet. I had originally thought of the slippers staying blue crystal whenever they were on her feet, but the changing-back-and-forth detail is even cooler! ~4. Everyone, not just the prince, notices that the slipper stays glass on the stepsisters' feet and turns to blue crystal on Cinderella's. ~5. I hadn't considered locking her in the attic only for her animal friends to free her. That was a nice nod to Disney's 1950 version of the story! ~6. My original ending had the prince (once Cindy fully woke up in the Garden of Dreams) tell her "I love you and not your appearance/background", but I'm glad that it was moved up to being said verbally in the dream. It shows that no matter what world she's in, Cinderella's true love will always be the prince, who will always love her for her. ~7. The concept had her freed from the vision by the prince (who I suppose would be her king by this point, since she's the queen) taking off her slippers, and then he would wait for her to fully wake up before he told her something along the lines of what he said in the dream. I can clearly see how it's more magical for her to have him by her side as she wakes on her own; he even takes off the slippers once he's sure she's awake, picks her up, and expresses his relief that she's come back to him. ~8. The lesson for the concept is that the right people will love you for you, not your appearance or background; Cinderella is even assured of that by her king. Here, Cinderella doesn't need that reminder, as she has come to accept that for herself. Knowing her husband was there by her side to care for her, even when she slept for a long time, made her realize two things: she belongs with her king in dreams AND reality, and dreams and adventures are no comparison to real life and the people who truly love you. The latter of the two is a good lesson for listeners of this video. Thank you again for making this a reality. It was truly magical and astounding to see this concept having finally come to life. May God richly bless you and your loved ones.
