My favourite and the best Disney remake they have done, after this, it all slowly fell. This remake capture everything Cinderella was and added on it that helps the story. They followed through the theme which is to be kind and have courage and she didn’t need to be a girl boss to be a strong female heroine. Kindness and courageous and compassionate is also a great lesson for everyone.

Cate did mention during an interview that Lily could barely breath in that ballgown. Also, they have naturally tiny waists, but they still wore the corsets to make them smaller. But hey, they still did a great job in the movie, don't you think?

The ballroom scene is one of my very favorites! The stunningly beautiful gown, the lovely methodical music, and the magnificent setting---all of these elements draw you into the grandeur of the scene!🏰🎶💙

@@0deadx21Lily James and Richard Madden state in an interview that she had just completed 6 weeks learning to ride prior to that scene. That horse must be crazy well trained as she was riding bareback with no reins or harness. 6 weeks or not, I doubt she has the skills of a Native Rider.

In the cartoon Cinderella is beautiful and has blue eyes and in this movie Cinderella is not so beautiful and does not have blue eyes. In fact, I did not like this actress to play the role of Cinderella, not because she is not a good actress, but because I would like the actress to be more faithful to the cartoon, a beautiful, blonde and blue-eyed actress.
