Cinderella is such an underrated band, nevertheless among my top favorites. Tom Keifer is one of the all around greatest frontman and musician, he is an incredible vocalist, insane guitarist, also a multi-player musical instruments, and sooo dam adorable. His voice is his own, he was blessed with many talents.

This is already a beautiful, soulful, heartfelt song, but Jeff's facial expressions when he sings "I'm on my way" just kick it up a notch even further. Even for salty, old Hair Metal geeks like us, this one melts right through your thick, rusty, cold-riveted iron heart!! Behold- a REAL power ballad!!

Cinderella - Coming home - Viniendo a casa (English Lyrics) I took a walk down a road It's the road I was meant to stay I'd see the fire in your eyes But a man's got to make his way So are you tough enough for my love? Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm coming home, I'm coming home I took a ride in a world I'll be spinning for the rest of my life I feel your heart beating baby Oh, sometimes it cuts like a knife So are you tough enough for my love Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm coming home, I'm coming home I'm coming home where your love tonight Can shine on me I'm coming home where your loving arms Can set me free I took a walk down a road It's the road I was meant to stay I'd see the fire in your eyes But a man's got to make his way So are you tough enough for my love Just close your eyes to the heaven above I'm coming home, I'm coming home I'm coming home, oh yes I'm on my way, oh yeah I'm coming home, I'm coming home Here we go I'm on my way, come on baby, come on Let your love shine on me Shine on, shine on, shine on me Shine on, shine on, shine on me

I was 13 when Shake Me hit the radio waves. Mom wouldn’t let me go see Cinderella because they were opening for David Lee Roth, and he wore chaps lol!! Skip forward a decade, and I finally got to see my favorite band at a little venue in my hometown. I worked my way to the front and hugged Jeff’s leg, looking up and telling him I love you!! He smiled such a genuine smile, mouthed back I love you, too, and when Shake Me started he dropped his pick in my hand. He aimed to make sure I got it. Thank you, Sir. I hope you’re jamming wherever you are now. R.I.P.

Great comment. An amazing debut album…then followed up with another great record where they really explored their influences. Heartbreak Station is another really good record…and Still Climbing, their 4th and final album, is just as underrated as the the band themselves. Yeah…they’re one of my all time favorite bands.

So true! There acually was a time when it WASN'T cool to play guitar! How crazy is that? Playin guitar has ALWAYS BEEN cool except for that sad sad time in the late 90's. I am so happy people are finay realizing that it takes talent to make music. My son is a D.J. and i am proud of everything he has achieved musicly (and in general) but he puts enormous amounts of effort into it, plus he plays the piano, senthecyser (i know I can't spell!) some guitar plus i make guitar loops for him. He gets my daughter to do the singing parts and my youngest daughter makes drum loops for him. She's played drums most of her life. But the point is he doesn't just arange loops that he downloads from loop packs he comes up with his own or someone in the family works with him to come up with them. So theres talent there even though it's not my kind of thing I've seen him get a crowd going the same way I've done time and time again by playing guitar.

However I did not miss a beat on any of the lyrics. I must say I was somewhat shocked as I did my in car Karaoke and could still remember all the lyrics after 30 years. I wonder why this song did not get much air play after the early 90s it was a great song that wrapped up the 80s.

Putting this out there: Frank Hannon is one of the top three underrated guitarists of my generation.
@TheMick263 жыл бұрын
I agree 100%. Frank Hannon and Tesla were severely underrated and they're still one of my all-time favorite bands. Both them and Cinderella have heavy blues influences, which is probably why I like 'em so much.

This song always makes me think of my late little brother, may his soul be at peace, the struggles of life was too much for him. I always say "he's at peace and no longer struggling with the demons of addictions❤." I miss him always😢.

I know cinderella will never reunite. But in our hearts they're still together. And I will miss them including Jeff labar. He might not be the best guitarists out there but the input he has contributed in cinderella albums were magnificent
