2025 marks the 2nd anniversary of me emersing myself in the furry fandom. 2024 was up and down. Mostly down due to being stricken by an unknown illness all year round. I had to call it quits with a so called friend who chose to ignore my illness and drag me out to a convention. The year ended with a bang at MFF with fun and happiness. Enough about me. Awesome job and sounds like you've had a bad year. Comes to think of, others too. Keep up the awesome job.

became a furry in 2023 May,as my friend dragged me into my first ever furry convention,i haven`t met or seen any furries irl before that,was a social shock but after like 2-3 days i felt in love with the community and joined it ;3

2025 marks my 16th year in the fandom. And despite my complaints and gripes about the fandom right now, I wouldn't change being a furry for the world. Happy New Year, Cindershadow. And may God bless you, your family, and everyone you hold dear. ^^ And I too am I lifelong hockey fan. Been a San Jose Sharks fan for as long is I can remember. And have been playing ice hockey since I was three years old. And still to this day I am one of the very few people who still use a wooden stick as my primary stick (A Sher-Wood PMP 5030, Titan Gretzky signature, and a 1970's Northland). I'm curious to know if you play and what gear you use. :3

due to my disease sports is something I don't generally do, short amounts is fine but cannot play in any regular manner, same reason Fernando Pisani retired, ex-oiler. it aggravates it, and part why I keep Beat Saber to 4 hour stints.

VRchat made me start to like these "Furries" back in 2021. Before that i have NEVER seen them around anywhere, neither knew about them, except in typical cartoon/s concept of "Oh look, fox is walking on two legs and doing human stuff overall".. When i was growing up, i oddly was in love with cartoon-ish Skunks overall due to their simple colour scheme of "Black n white" but never was trying to skribble them on piece of paper.

I didn't hesitate to consider myself a furry from the day I found out it's a thing, if theres anything wrong with my weird head I'd say it's the executive dysfunction, thanks a lot for that Autism/ADHD. I enjoy so much of my own weirdness, that I consider weird a compliment. I did still mostly keep the entire furry thing to myself for a long time, out of concern what some people might think but that has recently changed, screw it I'm just going to do it.

Honestly Ive been able to deal with a lot more issues in my life because of this, I have paralleled this hobby for so long learning that this is something i can do for fun, enjoyment, and have a passion for. So many told me dont go down this path for so long I have had to say forget it, It makes me happy so why should I ignore it any more

@@Cindershadow what i made of it was a nice creative hobby like what i was told it was... but everyone else harassed me for being positive... so i came to realize its not a good place at all... i also got groomed alot by alot of older furries when i was younger... i just didnt notice til i grew up
